He forgot it... what the hell kind of build order aims for a late consume? Consume is what keeps Zerg alive.

Need to watch this game. Apparently there was a major fuck-up by Jaedong but still need to see that.

As a Flash fan you'll be disappointed by his play.

He played better than JD. Enough for me even though it wasn't as solid as usual.

Have you seen the game? If you did there's no way you can say that.

Assuming there is no luck involved the player who plays better, wins. JD played well for the whole game except that he forgot consume, but that mistake was too huge so he lost. Even if it's just one click if it's that important and game deciding, you should make sure you don't screw that up. A game can be decided by a one-click mismicro as well, like not stimming when flank comes.

That said, I think JD and Flash are of equal skill level normally.

equal? jaedong is clearly the superior player of the two

again he was winning the game but for get to research consume... and they were playing at a heavy terran favored map at that

well that game was dumb; Jaedong throughly outplays FlaSh in every facet of game for ten minutes then forgets consume and loses >.<

Ah damn so thats why he lost haven't seen the game but nice to know its just because jaedong forgot consume not because flash outplayed him

well he got absolutely creamed those last 30 seconds or so
Edit- As I recall your a JD fan and thus were not being sarcastic; in that case yeah watch this game. First ten minutes are classic Jaedong, unbelievably good and entertaining. Last bit was a wtf moment but didn't leave a bitter taste in my mouth

Ah yeah definitely going to watch it now ^^

Neither player is clearly superior and you're clearly wrong to say so.

hey man it's all good, you got that MSL title and there's no shame losing a close, tough game to the #1 team (currently). Hiya seems to be back in full shape and that means good things for you guys!

I see what you meant. It wasn't the best play ever from Flash but in the end he won. At least will serve as a boost of confidence.

Well it wouldn't be a stretch to say that JD held massive advantages in the last 5 games between these two, but he is only 3-2 in those games i'm afraid. Oh well. Hopefully they meet again in a bo5 (OSL finals plz).

Just watched this on Youtube.

Hoejja vs Hiya was rofl!

How the hell did JD lose? Looked like he was on 4 base making 5th vs 2 base.

Thought he was going for the kill after the devastating muta harrass on his base.

I think Flash, going into the MSL finals, was VERY confident and considered himself to be stronger than Jaedong at that point. The games of the finals and this game have only proven that Flash is not a favourite or atleast not a clear one against Jaedong (atleast not on any map).

LOL! Have just watched the game right now and damn JD was all over him. Sure seemed so but of all the games this is the moment where he forgets or more likely slips a Consume... Yes he made an enormous and crucial mistake so that counts as a loss in the books and I'm not debating that just hate it when something like that happens.

Most people agreed JD had an advantage in the MSL Finals Game 3 when Dark Swarm kept him safe. Now he didn't have Dark Swarm and couldn't hold the lines. With that in mind I consider Game 3 to be a fair decision though it was of course not how it should've been decided with a ruling instead of playing.

Overall I think JD looked stronger than Flash in the MSL Finals and with this game he cements it at least for me. Now I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that JD truly deserved that MSL win!
