I really don't get the sense that JD's eco is all that strong from that video. He has one defiler, 2 irradiated ultras with low health, 5 lings, 1 full health ultra, 2 lings coming from 4 o clock and a ultra coming from 5 o clock. His drone count at 7 is low and it doesn't even look like he's mining any gas. (EDIT: He is mining gas from one gas) Flash has the min only + his nat and a little more than a control group of marines + 6 medics. And if you closely watch Flash's nat around 18:42 and on you can see marines rallying out of barracks. It would have taken awhile for JD to push his econ advantage and for all we know one dropship (which he could have building, we don't know) could do alot of damage in the main, a clutch EMP (which he could have researched, we don't know) could save his min only from getting swarmed and bunkered marines could have saved it... he could have had spidermines researching, we just don't know. The point is we have no idea if any of that stuff could happen, but that's enough reason to give flash a regame. | ||

Have you watched the game? Flash was all in, if he doesn't take out this base he loses. He was mined out with an unprotected mineral only expansion, while JD was on 3 gas. 1 swarm after this and it's gg. | ||

That would have made everyone happy I was hoping for a bo7 aswell (although it would never happen), but then again, would the players really want that? 2 extra maps which they probably hadn't prepared backups strategies for.. i think that would favor the terran quite a bit aswell, as he doesnt need to worry about getting cheesed and preparing anti-strategies for just that. | ||
