I can guarantee THAT solution would result in riots. ![]()

Wait wait wait, your saying that flash isnt the best because he didnt win a series with a game handicap against him? ok that make sense :\

The fact that fanboys from both sides refuses to admit is that the game was fucked when the outage happened. No fair decision could have resulted from it, short of somehow loading a saved game.

But MBC and KESPA could not have made bigger fools out of themselves. The entire event was an utter embarrassment to e-sports and a middle finger to every fan of StarCraft. Flash and Jaedong fans alike should be upset about just about everything that occurred tonight: from the MSL finals not being live, to the technical difficulties, to the drama over Jaedong's free win, to the entire spectacle. This wasn't a StarLeague final, this was a circus and a waste of time for fans of Flash, Jaedong, and mostly the players themselves. That sounds more like you. I agree completely with everything you wrote.

Kind of ironic that in trying to reverse the decision and bring Flash back to 1-1, they screwed up game 4 and sealed the series 3-1 Jaedong.

Damn i got it now , its all about Flash. The game usually goes to the player who had advantage and everybody knows who had the edge. Was it all 'fair and square' ? Hell since when everything in this world is fair? The world doesn't have rules. A simple computer game that not too many random events can occur in should. Expecting Kespa to have better rules isn't asking the world to suddenly be filled with faeries and unicorns shitting out rainbows and sunshine. It's asking a group that runs a competition to put some better thought into how they run their tournaments since their current system is obviously flawed.

Where do you draw the line though, power outage after the scouting SCV dies give the game to JD cos he's ahead? That's why most people probably agree with regame unless the winner is 95%+ clear.

Kespa is fucked one way or another. But you know what? Flash can deal. Awarded wins have happened before, and Flash is capable of handling that. What destroyed him was his coaches' unprofessional response and his dad going downright apeshit. Yeah, his Dad probably should have kept his cool, but Flash is 17. He probably felt like his child was getting screwed over by adults. It isn't like Flash was going to object the decision. He's still a teenager; he wouldn't go up against people twice his age.

After JD got his free win in game 3 it was all over for flash making him play the 4th game was just a huge insult to him. The only reasonable thing was to replay the game, yes maybe JD would lose out one it a bit but if he now is the better player and deserves to win he should still be able to do it once again. The worst part is that there is no winners in all of this, JD didn't get a legitimate win and Flash didn't get to lose in an acceptable way. Personally I hope this is the end for MBC, they deserve no less.
