Exactly.
And a fial 4 pool (or was it 5 pool) against SKyhigh in winner's league. Jaedong cheesed much more than Flash in last year or two. In contrast, I was angry at FLash sometimes that he doesn't mix cheese with his standard play (and as far as I remember I wasn't the only Flash fan).

even if JD started with a 9pool, he'd've lost the OL, which would put him on par with Flash

You Flash fanboys are laughable. You would rather your player win than watch a good game. I have no preference in the matchup, I just want to watch good StarCraft. The game should have been disappointing to all SC fans, JD or Flash alignment notwithstanding. I appreciate the fact that it was a well-executed cheese and that JD should not have gotten greedy in trying to let his 2nd hatch finish in addition to defending. I understand how Flash legitimately won the series and played the better game each time.

I cannot come to terms with how Flash wanted to be respected like Jaedong is, and still did a cheesy build. He wanted to be seen as his rival, and a legitimate victory tonight would have earned him the coveted title of JD's rival. I can't believe Flash fan's enjoyed that. I can't see him gaining any respect in the eyes of fans for that. It was nothing but a massive disappointment.

EDIT: Even if I weren't a Calm fan I would be pulling for him to smash Flash in the semis because of the shit we have just witnessed.

No, it means that if you hypothetically told me your BO before the game, and that BO has almost no chance of working against a similarly skilled opponent, it would fail. Those if I knew you would 5 fact beforehand, then it would never work on similar skill levels.

So you're saying if I told you I was going 8 rax before the game started I would have no chance at winning? I'd be behind in economy, especially if you go 12 hatch or whatever, but it certainly doesn't mean I'm out of the game. Something like 4pool or 2 proxy gates, yes. 8rax, no.

7 at most, I saw 7/x while the rax was building.

it said 7 while it was definitely 8. does it not count units that are building?

The unit counting thing doesn't count units being built, I believe.

What I meant to say is how can you say JD is the better player after getting DESTROYED in a straight up game one. Also, if he is better, he had plenty of time to cancel the hatch and go into the game with a late expo. Apparently he figured he couldn't win with a 1base start, which implies he doesn't feel superior to Flash in any way.

If it was a PvT and the Protoss goes for a 12 nex, I would understand your argument of him not being able to win with a 1 base start. However this is ZvT and I believe 12 hatch is a standard. If he did feel Flash was superior to him, why risk going for the midgame and not try to rush him early on? As for the first game, I am not taking anything away from Flash. He did play better than Jaedong in that particular game. I still say Jaedong is the better player.

flash never cheeses? are you fucking kidding me?

Yea... OneOther, Myx is talking about the "Flash never cheeses" statement.

I'm just depressed the two players that just minutes ago got such crazy crowd cheers, and were facing each other with insane 9-1 stats, ended the most hyped match in 5min without a proper followup to come for god knows how long.

i counted 6 when he was sending out his first SCV.
Idra says it's 8. While i do not respect him, he has slightly more knowledge about tvz than i have, so i wont argue on that anymore, but i'll chek the VOD

that counter only shows what units are on the map at the time, it doesnt count whats building. it said 6, had one scv building, and by the time the scv arrived at the spot the barracks was being built it would be 8 supply.
