We want the people capable of jaw-dropping, amazing plays. Stork is. Shine isn't. Fantasy is (despite being terrible a lot of the time), Bisu is, and EffOrt is. That's why Shine is getting bashed. He may be doing the right thing from his/his fans' perspective, and no one is saying his victories weren't earned. BUT no one wants a type-b/yarnc semi again. And each win of Shine, we're one step closer to that kind of gayness. Which makes Shine's play gay. And you wrong for saying otherwise. So a player that's not a big name can't produce "jaw-dropping, amazing plays"? Yarnc/Type-B are not apt comparisons at all. When they went into OSL, they were known quantities; they'd been around long enough for people to know what they were capable of, so complaining about them getting that far and making for boring sets was a fair complaint. Shine is new though. People don't know what he can do yet, and I'd say that it's overly hasty to think that just because he's new, he's incapable of producing the amazing games you're looking for. Every S-class player was in this phase before. Bisu was another protoss for Savior to stomp before he became the Revolutionist. Flash was known for cheese before he was known as the Little Monster. Jaedong was the Legend Killer before he was the Tyrant. Shine hasn't shown me anything that he's S-Class, and lol he's not another Bisu, Flash, or Jaedong. I would put Calm, Effort, Zero, and Jaedong ahead of Shine when it comes to the top zergs. He might get to the round 4, but his winning ways will end there. You don't have to be a hated player to be some up and comer.

That was the best game of 2009 and the pimpest play of 2009, but who wants to watch a final match in MSL ro64 between 2 non top 20 kespa players Game quality is not measured by the names that are playing but how well they are playing in the game, thats all that matters. Everyone had to start up somewhere too, you just dont pop into the scene and become a big name with a million fanboys Iloveoov! Granted he didnt have many fans, everyone seemed to hate him in fact, but he came out guns blazing laying waste to everyone in his way. (Iv always loved him tho, the greatest BW player ever) oh my gawd. I whole heartedly agree oov is the greatest bw player.. i love him so much.. he's my favorite sc player ever~

JD looked so miserable throughout the game. Flash is so freaking ridiculous... How is Flash able to deny the 3rd so well in TvZ nowadays? I think JD made some mistakes... or rather... expected Flash to do different things. 1) JD's gas was late because of the lings. I think JD expected Flash to make a bunker, but Flash built a depot instead. 2) After the 9 mutas popped, JD went for Flash's main instead of killing the group of MM wondering outside. The "counter" did absolutely nothing except giving up all of the lings and weaken majority of the mutas. As a result, JD was never able to make a third. 3) Somewhat related to point 2, I think JD expected Flash to go for a faster tech (i.e. 2 rax), but Flash was producing units from 3.

There were literally a dozen situations where one Mealstrom could have won you the game. He was gas starved. How is he going to get sair/reavers/HT with storm AND DA with maelstrom? By the time he had a DA he'd already be overrun. Not saying Z > P and Stork played perfect. But a DA is not an easy answer. Half the time the muta harass was coming over water. No way for DA to maelstrom that.
