You're acting dumb, most people are arguing it's boring as hell to watch, not that microing is difficult. You're defending something that can't be defended, War3 IS boring to watch now and the game has been dead a very long time. | ||

you have to pay for your foodcount, that means if you go above 50 population you only gain 70% percent gold, if you go above 75 you only gain 30 % gold income. that means, having big armys is bad for your economy. this means you have to plan when you attack and as short as possible you can before you mass. so training units is just to reach and stay at 50 foodcount. next thing is the hero and the experience. everyunit that dies gives exp to a close hero of the killing fraction. that doubles the effect in a fight, since you get stronger and other loses units. also the hero is much stronger then other units, he gets even more power in the way of the game by killing creeps, the neutral units, or units of the opponent. the hero can get to level 10, what will hardly ever happen in a progamer match, but a big boost is level 6 where he gets a special ability that is even stronger than his normal spells. what does that mean ? you dont wanna loose units to feed enemy making him bigger, and want to kill units to grow. so you send wounded units in fights back home or just micro them away out of focus to not die and try to heal them. also you kill neutrals to gain exp because they dont run away like ur opponent would, and you dodge the danger of feeding the other player aswell by losing units yourself to him. another point is nearly every unit has a ability you have to time and autocasting would be waste, if its not healing, so you have to cast alot and have a mass of timings in you head. nevertheless starcraft is by far more entertaining ![]() | ||
