Really nice economy of clicks. I am watching his stream now. He often spams for nothing. Example. Select units and press 3 times to move instead of 1. Click on buildings and not build anything with em. Instead of waiting for resource to come he spams building button before has the money to actually build thing. Also hotkeys less then should. Bisu = noob. Btw I decided to actually improve my health by eating well, doing sports and taking breaks every hour.

Pressing several times to move sometimes changes units' pathing, especially if the destination is close. Clicking buildings gives you information about it's production queue, you may not keep production timings in memory. Spamming build button allows to avoid tracking process of resources with necessity to react to it's changes, that introduces additional human response time. Secondly it's an opportunity to give your brains a small break instead of keeping track of varying numbers.

Everything Bisu does has been accepted as generally beneficial for the majority of people because it keeps him moving fast and makes sure that he doesn't miss click or make sure everything builds or just keep track of everything...I really would not reccomend calling some of the best BW players ever such as Flash and Bisu noob just because you don't understand everything they do...

Well one of the things you can try is to play on smaller maps and/or maps that have suitable distances. The other thing is using the arrow buttons. And in my opinion these two should be combined to compliment each other. For further explanations send me a pm.

I was kidding ![]() Of course they are not noobs. But pros do click a lot more then they should. I watched the stream of the korean terran guy. 4 out of 5 clicks were pointless. Looked like he spammed cause he is used to clicking a lot without thinking about it. But bisu does spam a lot less then others thats true. Even though some clicks are for nothing but still not too many. As for letting brain rest I don't think there is such thing as RSI of the brain ![]() In fact keeping track of things in the mind is good for it.

It's pretty clear to me that you're overanalyzing what the players are doing during the first 7 minutes of the game. Many players will spam if they don't have anything better to do. It helps you warm up your fingers, and helps make your play more robust, because you overdo things. As a general rule, they don't spam during the intensive parts of the game though. I've looked at some Bisu fpvods and he doesn't spam at all in the mid and late game.

As for letting brain rest I don't think there is such thing as RSI of the brain ![]() In fact keeping track of things in the mind is good for it. Player keeps his APM constant, even when it becomes redundant. It's difficult to keep "what you want to do" and "what you can do physically" always equal. Such constant operation mode without switching between few and many actions allows to put execution of actions into subconsciousness. Thus, player has one method/interface of interacting with the game instead of several. Yes it may be less efficient in some cases, but overall it's an advantage at management level. Some important parts of BW include distribution of attention and grouping of actions. Attention is some kind of resource, and also the better you group actions, the more efficiently you spend this resource. This grouping can be done not only by context, but also by the ease of executing actions subconsciously. Executing actions subconsciously works a lot faster, offloading mind for tactics, strategy and other stuff. You may want to watch Berkeley lectures.
