Create a location which covers the entire map, then select it and press Enter (or double click it, or right click it and click Properties). Make sure only the boxes for low, medium, and high air are checked; uncheck the rest, and name it Air. Now, make a trigger for each player with the condition 'Current player Brings Exactly 1 Terran Command Center to Air', and the action 'Remove All Units for Current Player', and 'Run AI Script Turn Shared Vision ON for Players 1-8' (that's 8 triggers). If you want it to happen after a certain amount of time, add a condition "If Elapsed time is Exactly 1 minute" as well. The victory conditions of the map usually have a defeat trigger for players with no buildings. If you want to change this you can either add in a switch for each player depending on if they're an observer, or just kill the SCVs and set resources to 0, and leave the CC alive. I find the switch method better because there's no random buildings floating around.

You get this awesome feeling after sniping their observers and killing a bunch of carriers....and then you realize their burst lasers do no ground damage and you were MUCH better off going goliath ![]()

So far my opponents always seem to have a better production than me. For example I typically open 11 gas 10 pool, I've seen this quite a lot in pro games so I figured it would be good. Then I get a natural hatch, but sometimes my opponent has a lot more zergligns and I'm forced to cancel it. Even if you're playing on one base, you should have two hatcheries right? In my games I didn't remake the hatch if this happened and they'd outproduce me pretty hard. How should you do mutas vs mutas fight? If you're both being really mobile and not doing a straight up fight? Should you use patrol micro ? When I try to right click them, I often miss potential shots.

The only time you shouldn't have 2 hatches before Mutas are out is if you went 9 pool. There are threads out there about the different ways to Mutas mice, so you should go look at them.

When I try to right click them, I often miss potential shots. 11 Gas 10 Pool is an 1 Hatchery build that aims to get Mutalisks quickly while maintaining healthy Drone and Zergling numbers early on. A popular choice amongst top-tier players, its effectiveness relies heavily on the player's micro to capitalize on the fast Mutalisks. After your initial Zerglings, you should react depending on what your opponent is doing. If your opponent is extremely greedy, you can try to kill him outright by attacking and rallying Zerglings to his base. Otherwise, you want just enough Zerglings to fend off any possible attacks while you tech to Mutalisks. It's often necessary to build a Sunken Colony if your opponent is making Zerglings non-stop. Against 12 Hatch builds, an additional Sunken is sometimes required. You are particularly vulnerable while saving for Mutalisks. ^ from liquipedia. I wonder why so few people read it, I mean even if its outdated it helps with understanding. basically with 11gas 10pool you stay on 1 base for a while and wait for your mutas because you have the gas advantage. and a general rule for zvz is if you have no clue what opening your opponent did, build lings and not drones, so you don't die if he went pure ling

You are probably the last person who should be discussing playing with solid mechanics and emulating progamers.
