What the hell? How did you come to such a ridiculous conclusion? 2 ZvT ZvP TvZ players will play TvT? LOOOOL? No. That will never happen. What I said is what happens unless an event organizer says otherwise in their rules.

Just pointing out what sometimes happens in wc3. It is almost the same scenario:
2 HvO, HvU, HvNe, and NevH players sometimes end up playing a NevNe.

In sc bw in this situation they will 99% play zvz and 1% tvz

No way to go in a tvt

1 question what happens if in a tourney there is a race picker that plays mirrors(pvp tvt zvz) and the players in his groups play zvp pvt pvz ?

I don't believe race picking is allowed in the korean leagues. You pick a race and stick with it.
I don't know if those rules will change with the upcoming merge with sc2, but I really don't think so.

both forfeit the games and nobody advances, kespa wins
actually idk, they most likely flip a coin if they cant decide on what mu to play.

You can change race. You just have to let people know in advance.

It just rarely happened. (ie Savior vs Gorush on Desperado)

Practice that build in single player (alone, not vs computers)


How is that done? I'm told I need at least one opponent to start the game.

Put a computer, start the game, and kick the comp during countdown. When the message come in game, press C. If you split decently, you should have just the time to do it beforce that message.

No, but if you are asking if you can do it without an internet connection, yes. You host a game in LAN mode and kick the CPU during the countdown.

How do I defend probe harrass as terran?

if the opponent micros correctly the probe is invincible and always kills my barrack scv, or makes pylon in my minerals and disrupts mining, or steals gas. I've tried wall-ins but they just proxy outside the wall and break it with goons/zealot before my factory gets finished.

you can't stop manner pylon/gas. If you are going for a fast cc and don't have a lot of early marines, then sometimes the best response is to take the natural gas instead.

As for dealing with probes attacking scvs directly, best bet is to watch pro vods. The general idea is to cycle out the injured scv back to mining just as a fresh one comes off the line.the probe cant follow the scv because the scv glides through to the far side of the expansion, and if the probe tries to follow it will get stuck among the scvs, and you can kill it off quickly.

How can I not get killed by a 3 (or 4 don't know exactly) rax marine push versus zerg. I'm the zerg and when it came I was getting my spire up and threw down 2 sunkens which finished in time but just got raped anyway, as did my around 12 lings.

All I could scout was one barracks at his choke + a couple of marines blocking it off. He didn't have an expansion.

When I don't see an expansion, I know something strange is on (like 2 port wraith, possible vulture play etc) but he kinda surprised me with his 20+ marines all of the sudden coming towards my base.

Any way to stop this? If needed, I think I still have the replay somewhere.

You need to sacrifice a ling once in awhile to check his marine count. If he's clever he might hide some of his marine count away from his ramp, but a lot of terrans are not that clever. If you can't get the scouting and you don't see an expansion, you need to scout his army moving out (either with overlord of zergling) and build enough sunkens to stop it immediately. On some maps there is not enough time, so you might need to have creep colonies already made which you morph only if you see his marines move out. How many sunks you need will depend on how long his attack takes to come. sparks terran only needs 4-5, but some terrans will wait it out a little longer if they know zergs like to just build 4 and pretend they're good, so you could need as many as 6-10 if they have a really huge army. Especially if they move out and wait in front of your base for reinforcements. A speedling backstab at this time can be effective if you have enough sunks to save your natural.

Things to be careful of are elevator play, where he gets a dropship and bypasses your sunkens. To stop that you basically just need overlords scouting where he might drop and use lings to deny it before too many are landed.

if he's on 1 base you need to play a lot more defensively. 2~3 sunkens is standard in 3hat muta against 2base play, and 2 sunkens isn't anywhere near enough against 1base play

you need to know whether its some kind of bio play or 2port wraith. it's best if you can see the gas timing, but if not just pay attention to his marine count. you might also need to watch out for factport or marine drop but those are pretty rare

if he's going bio you need a lot of sunkens if he's going for a sunken bust (like 5~6+ with lings). if he keeps making marines, keep making sunkens until your mutas are out or you're gonna die

if you made 6 initial lings, always put them near the terran's choke. once he pushes out, delay him as much as possible and if in fact it is 3/4 rax push, then time to mass sunkens

if you held off his push, contain him with your mutas and proceed to recovering your lost drones
