LT drops out - no 2nd safe expo, God's Garden is similiar to Acro, Katrina is unwallable (think 2x 2Gate Zeals), and Loki is 1v1... Of all, God's is decent, but no more, not too easy to Tank harass, no safe island expos. There's got to be some map that satisfies my needs? Thank you for your efforts. Have you considered playing island maps like Plasma, or semi-island maps like 815? This might be a work-around to your issue. I do think Katrina is wallable using the neutral building there, check pro VODs to verify. Otherwise, I don't see a point to having it there, naw mean? EDIT: Also, for LT, you are neglecting the easy 3rd @ island for T. There are no minerals or neutral buildings blocking it, could be a good investment to go fac port 3cc on. EDIT 2: Even if there is no perfect wall vs. 2x 2 gate zeals on Katrina, you have to realize the wonders of good depot/bunker placement + repair. After playing many 3v3/2v2s on Blizz maps, I know for a fact that you can deny builds like this on your own with proper building placement.

You can also try Othello, it's not heavily T favoured (except in TvZ according to the stats), there is a relatively easy to secure third, if you are going for a mostly macro game, and easy to drop nats and third's.

It is situational, and they don't, afaik, drill it into their builds or anything, so it's something that's not particularly structured, but because it is just a single upgrade, it is relatively cheap in the mid-game and worth it for keeping it alive vs scourge or for getting to where it is needed faster etc, so sometimes they get one if they feel it is worth it, or is convenient. I'm just guessing here, but they probably don't, like my namesake, get both upgrades. :p

It's a pretty situational upgrade though, and something you should definitely skip early on..

I know it's complexity, but that abbreviation just won't change in my mind, so anyone else think it like that? This is a BW forum. Better to ask this in it's Starcraft2 counterpart.

Is it a good idea to blind shuttles in tvp reaver drops, especially if you know your opponent has gone shuttle first? I've read up on an article discussing this (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=62741), but it was very outdated. I felt that this question was better asked again in the simple answers rather than bumping the topic. EDIT: grammer

EDIT: grammer You cant run past lurks on a ramp with blind since they still will have a vision of 1, and will still be able to get a shot off. Spreading at the bottom is your best bet. Blind has been used before as a response to reaver drops but it is definitely not the most efficient way. Maybe if you did that old FD opening with one medic it might be useful/

I get obs upgrade as soon as I can. Mostly after confirming that terran had expanded to natural. This is because I want to be prepared for any vulture drop/harass shenanigans. Because if you have obs far from your base and you see 4 vult drop, it will take forever for obs to come back and can cause goons to trip mines. Also having the speed obs grouped with goon makes defusing mines much easier. However, I do delay speed upgrade when I see terran is doing two fac or some kind of all in. That's why I always check if terran have natural expansion or not.
