+ Show Spoiler [Version 1] +The eye in the center is for decoration purposes lol Anyway, here's my latest map: Features: - Main: 10M 2G (1500/5000) - Nat: 8M 1G (1500/5000) - Mineral-only expo at 12/6: 5M (1500) - Corner expo at 5/11: 7M 1G (1500/5000) - 2 Dark Swarms at corner expos - Crystals are for blocking the small gaps between raised jungle terrain and high dirt terrain, nothing special - 3 non-stacked temples at jungle ramp to prevent fast rushes - 2 5x stack temples at 'backyard' that opens up new route - 2x power generators to tighten choke at mineral-only expo - Jungle ramps are unbuildable
Not sure about balance though. Feedback and comments welcome. (Might work on the aesthetic part later on)

I only put the dark swarms because I thought Zerg would lose out compared to other races @_@
So what if I remove the dark swarms? More balanced?

zvz map, for sure. walking distances are very long compared to air distance
plus, the swarms. we all learned a thing or two from persona.

Looking at the location of that swawm, in ZvT Zergs just got two free expos.

Seems like a really frustrating map to play on.

just tried the map out, you can just walk through the 2 5x temples, so you might wanna fix that, but overall, the map is pretty fun to imo, but the distance is a bit too big tbh :/

Super imba ZvT? Is that even possible on every single icc level, 2hat lurk opening, into securing those 2 gases with swarm, into 5gas filer/ultra/gaurd, how the heck are you supposed to beat that as T oO. 3gas muta off 2 base makes pure muta harass really impossible to defend against too with the amount of mutas that you can pump :/

Would the two gas in main be imbalanced for zerg and toss? though Terran can benefit from it a lot too. Looks like Z will go heavy air on this map. Terran will turtle and Toss would recall. Yeah.

Yeah which is why I'm not sure about balance. Considering reducing the gas to 3500 each.

Nice map! I'll try it out with a friend sometime. ^^ I'm glad you got rid of the swarms though, it makes the map a lot less zerg-friendly.

Yeah, I'll give this one a few plays too. It looks like a nice map to play on.
I wonder if it might be a nice idea to, sorry if this is too much of an adjustment, instead of having those two middle expos, put a river/body of water running across the middle, with a bridge or three dividing the north and south sides.
Again, sorry if that is changing your idea too much. I just thought I'd throw it out there.

Yeah, I just played a quick PvT and it seems like it would be a bit imbalanced in that regard.
Also, there are gaps at the top of the stacked temples on the left side, and on the bottom of them on the right side. Even Dragoons and Tanks can fit through there, so the main isn't really well protected.

The natural expo on the left side of the map appears to have a place where you can drop a tank and cliff. The right side natural expo does not.

This map looks really nice now. The two base 3 gas might be suitable for some cool strats like 2 base hive vs terran or 3 port vessel right away vs zerg or like a really fast goon / ht / archon push pvz. A lot of gas makes for more fun play imo and the map design seems to suit itself for some wierd push timings. Good job. Too bad no one will ever play it competetively

Have you thought about giving one of the two main gases less starting resources? Like say, 1500 and 500?
Alternatively, you could have a normal second expo geyser, and instead put the Psi Disruptor building over one of the two geysers in the main. It could make for some interesting ZvZ that way.

I don't know if I like the idea of so much free gas, you need an incentive to take expansions imo. Then again I haven't played the map yet so I can't properly comment, those are just my initial thoughts.
