It's been bumped when he's close to a new record but failed aswell. Anyway, try to not search teamliquid.net forums if you don't want anything spoiled. Keep your eyes on the small vod thread or search on jon747's account on youtube.
You shouldn't search a starcraft pro-gaming site if you wish to be kept in the dark about the games...

How is it possible to spoil the result of a Flash game these days? XD Kid doesn't lose.

if only other things in life were as certain as Flash winning..

I didn't think being so dominant was possible in ZvT, TvP or PvZ. This milestone that is 70% TvP says a great deal about how hard BW is to master and how well balanced it is!
Comparing him to Jaedong though, I think being this dominant in ZvT is impossible. Winning 9 pool to 1 rax expand is just too hard and playing 12 hatch every game is just too weak to cheese. Jaedong could've had a win% nearly as good as this once upon a time if not for ZvT. Jaedong still has higher vP and vZ ELO peaks.

That's just bullshit. Watch Jaedong's 10 last games vs T, he has been straight up outplayed in 6 of them.

I did say "once upon a time".
He's most definitely not in the form of his life right now. There's no way he could reach his old vZ peak either.

Ok, so we have a new all-time and vs terran (all-time again) peaks for the little monster.

200 Points above #3. I guess we can start betting if Flash will lose ever again.

Anyone who is really familiar with the system who would mind estimating the amount of point inflation (if there even is any) the last say 8 years? I find it kind of cool that Yellow (the real one) still holds the second highest vT peak of all time.

Oh Flash will lose, some meaningless game in BoXs.

Flash being 200 points above #3 is amazing.

I did the calculations back around pages 5-7 or so.
There are about ~27 points of inflation approximately last february (this is total since the system started by the way so the first games are back in '01 IIRC). There is probably another 1-8 from that time until now (depending on how many people retired).
Safe to say though Flash is the strongest player of all time. By far. Bringing up the next it is likely:
Oov was a bit above Bisu and JD who were a bit above Nada who was a bit above Savior.
Bisu and JD actually have had a couple periods of long streaks of dominance. I know I mapped it out once where Bisu went about 77% over 100 game period and JD had around 75%. Oov had a monstrous 79 or 80% over 100 games.
We have to remember despite his dominance savior actually lost A LOT of games in series, but he pretty much won every bo3/bo5. That's why his peak is relatively low compared to the others; losing of 1-2 games in each bo3/bo5 hurts ELO peak. Although you could argue he had bad maps too... and won everything that counted (unlike Bisu/JD)

I honestly don't think that's too relevant, seeing as competition these days are alot harder.

good lord. next stop, 2500 ELO jesus unfuckingbelievable, and he isn't even such a high APM guy like jd or nada (afaik). I mean, nowadays where ppl play with an average 300-350 APM you would expect someone having a 80% winning rate to be SO MUCH faster than your everyday pro gamer.

I can only assume that the"faster" progamers spam far more than Flash does. He is probably very efficient.
