Quoting lifetime percentages that somewhat omit the various evolutions in the matchup (brought up by both of these players) to prove "dominance," one way or the other, is the wrong way to do it. Over roughly the last six months: Since 10/01/10, Jaedong's ZvP is Record: 16 wins - 1 losses (94.12%) (20-2 (90%) including WCG) Flash's TvP since 10/01/10 is 20 wins - 4 losses (83.33%) Flash's TvT since 10/01/10 is Record: 19 wins - 4 losses (82.61%) You are still correct in saying that his ZvP is not clearly more dominant than Flash's TvZ or TvT. It is, however, more dominant than both (just not clearly).

Seriously, where the hell did you get those numbers from!? Jaedong's ZvP is CLEARLY not more dominant.

It is, however, more dominant than both (just not clearly). Right, but if you want to cherry pick times when players are better why not pick a longer time? Like say last year from early april for 8 more months? Why, Flash's TvT is 22-0! I'll bet you money Jaedong's ZvP won't be as close over 22 games or 8 months. Elo doesn't misrepresent anything. It has no real flaws aside from inflation and/or new players coming in (like how Flash got freebe points for beating an amateur in WCG). It's quite possible for Jaedong to surpass his current ZvP, but had he beaten Stork earlier he would have a higher ZvP. Had he, oh so long ago, not lost to Rock 3-0, his current ZvP Elo would probably be different. Elo doesn't pretend to quantify what a player is capable of in the future, but it quantifies how good a player is up to present until considered otherwise fairly well. Better than any other system I've seen, alteast. All that said, Flash has 3 matchups that are either the best or second best of all time (Best vT by far, second vZ of all time and best currently, second vP all time and second currently) to Jaedong, who has 2 that are best or second best of all time (vZ was best, is second. vP is best and best of all time). If someone supplants him then someone supplants him. Jaedong is excellent in his field but slightly less rounded than Flash, so who cares? Well, aside from slumps.

We have following picks: 1) A v A 2) MyRace v A 3) A v T 4) MyRace v T 5) A v Z 6) MyRace v Z 7) A v P 8) My Race v P Where "My Race v" anything is lesser and "A v" anything is better. There can be also category between but I don't want it to look like pumping statistics. Flash till now has: 1) A v A 2) MyRace v A 3) A v T 4) MyRace v T 5) A v Z 6) MyRace v Z 7) A v P 8) My Race v P and he is very close to A v Z and A v P which would make him complete ELO champion. I hope there will be some way to remove flaws from ELO so we could test if this is really positive for all times.

+ Show Spoiler + With his win against baby, Flash is now on a 10 games winning streak making up for his 2 consecutive losses earlier and should set up a new ELO record yet again!

EDIT: Seriously though, this thread is bumped every time Flash gets close to his peak or sets a new one. One has only to glance at this thread's title to be spoiled.
