It was also fun listing Jaedong's last vT losses. "Flash Flash Flash Sea Flash" lolol You missed Darkelf lol.

Now that you mention PL starting on 2009-08-27.... Flash's record since then has been
64 wins - 15 losses (81.01%) vT 15 wins - 2 losses (88.24%) vZ 32 wins - 7 losses (82.05%) vP 17 wins - 6 losses (73.91%)
Now let's take a trip down memory lane.... Remember this? + Show Spoiler [Bananas] +

2417 record broken for the 3rd time now?

M18M is ridiculously good at pvt

that game against flash was still very lucky and quite... silly
anyways, 2417, thats pretty sick, hes such a monster right now

To think that Flash once went on a six game losing streak. These days it's surprising if he even loses more than one game out of six. Literally, his win:loss ratio since October is 5:1.
Another funny thing is that his TvP ELO is 16 points below his peak even after defeating Kal and Shuttle today. He dropped something like 30 points in that matchup by losing to M18M.

Wow just wow! Was looking through JD's recent game to see what I've been missing. It seemed okay so just for fun I'd check his current Elo. Lol was totally blown away seeing Flash's sick, sick performance! Damn he's on fire beyond compare...

I don't think anybody has been doing that well for a long, long, long time. And that's the first time also for a loooong time that nobody has alone dominated the scene that way. Jaedong is not even close this month.

I haven't been in the Flash threads for a while... is he finally considered bonjwa? I think he really deserves the title now, without any doubt. I don't think even Jaedong at his best caused his opponents to shit themselves before the match like Flash does now..

M18M is ridiculously good at pvt plus, the kid obviously used all his practice time perfecting an alternative build that is built specifically for countering Flash. Almost a hard counter to the timings Flash relies on.
His build would suck as a standard build.

As most people have said, no community will fully recognize him as Bonjwa until he gets 2 more titles or so.
|
Jaedong has won as many starleagues in the last three seasons as Savior won in his three best, and Flash gets the bonjwa talk.
I am slightly amused.

Whoever wins Flash gonna get huge amount of points
Though flash "only" 2nd in XvP matchup rankings Jaedong being first.

People were also giving Jaedong the bonjwa talk the whole time too so basically you're making no sense.
Jaedong's thing was he has a lot of titles, typical of a bonjwa. Flash's current thing is he's dominating with the amazing sense of ease and consistency, characterized by bonjwaness.
Neither of them have the combination of RapeWithEase(Jaedong, despite many wins, has struggled the whole way through) + Lots of titles (Obviously Flash only has 2, separated by over a year, but he's destroying and still has a good period of time to get titles).

JD pulling off the most dominant SL run ever means struggling to you?

In early '07, Savior didn't have that combination either. He struggled against both Hwasin and Iris in 3-2 series, but those are the two series, the one with Iris especially, that I think of when I think of Savior the bonjwa.
|
It's just that they both exist at the same time, so it's hard to assign bonjwa.
Imagine a hypothetical scenario where two players have 95% win rates, their only losses being to each other. Neither of them could be called bonjwa the way that I understand the word, but there has to be another term for it.
|
If Flash reachs 2450elo, I will call him a bonjwa regardless of what others say
|
No one will break Flash's ELO peak. By the time anyone will even come close, it will be all SC2.
