Everyone's ELO went up by approx 20. The calculations are still the same, there were just a lot of old games added that altered the numbers.

The thing about Flash is that I find him even more streaky than most. He spends most of his time being a bit inconsistent, playing very well in general but dropping a lot of games he shouldn't drop. Then he will suddenly bust out with god-like play that blows away all the competition and makes you think "bonjwa." But he doesn't maintain it.
There were times when he went on streaks dominating everyone just to fail at the end leaving me and other fans heart-broken.
First was post OSL streak which ended disappointingly with his losses to Luxury, Forgg and Jaedong.
After that he went into semi-slump but still kept super high winrate by all standards.
Second happened during the winner's league. Flash went on 12 game streak beating in the meantime Jaedong twice, Leta, Hwasin etc just to get eliminated from both leagues within two days. The end of the streak I would attribute to the crazy schedule plus the fact that KTF sucked so badly it was crazy (Jaedong was at least supported by Hyia who was doing remarkably well that time). After that Flash again was playing well but didn't have that spark.
Third streak is still unravelling. At this time it took him to the OSL final while the other two ended much earlier. I hope he will keep his momentum and go on like that. But as a fan who followed Flash for so long I am always scared that the will "choke" and within a week loses all what he was working on for months now. I really hope he will win at least one title this season but I am always prepared for him to lose. Too many time Flash disappointed his fans in starleagues...

I believe Flash has grown as a person though, in addition to growing as a player. Flash had a air of arrogance to him in the earlier times, but it seems like Flash is such a humble player now, and the fact that he is so much more mature in his mindset allows him to achieve more and go further, I think that's the difference between Flash's dominance now, and his dominance before.

I definitely agree with that. Flash seems so mature and humble these days.
But I would also add the fact that: for once he has a reliable team which does not depend on him as much, apparently, great atmosphere in the team, and the change i coaching (Flash has now a personal coach). These factors surely make the difference as well.

To have the best SC he needs to complete his TvP. Until then, no it isnt the best ever YET. This is why JD is a beast, after the OSL final against Stork, hes never had a weak matchup anymore. but what he says is true. jaedong has no player that he is consistently weak against. flash on the other hand, has stork, best, jangbi. all protosses. What is wrong with you people? Do you watch the same starcraft everyone else does? You only consider Flash's TvP "weak" because it's not as inhuman as his TvZ and TvT is... how dare u defending flash and his tvp? how dare u? flash is consistently weak against every decent protoss like stork (8-11, winning 1 OSL title against him with 3-0), best (1-3) or jangbi (1-2). yes, i know. it's hard to face the truth, but: flash's tvp is just not good. in fact, it's bad. who was it who won on katrina when every other t got raped? which terran has the highest vp ELO until now? who won his OSL final 3-0 against stork while the overhyped fantasy lost 2--3? yes that is also flash, but you get my point: his 66% overall winning rate in tvp is nothing ok? if he ever gets to 62.7%like jaedong in zvt (who has no weak matchup since his first OSL title) ONLY THEN you can say his tvp is on par with his tvz/tvt
I believe that you've hit the nail on the head, good sir, with your expert analysis. Let us raise a glass to Flash's pitiful TvP, may he burn in n00b hell

For all Flash's brilliance, he still only has 1 title to his name (if you don't count GOM).
He may be in superb form atm, but it will count for nothing if can't convert it into some tangible achievements.

2300 was bonjwa level back when there weren't as many games to play.
I'd imagine 2400 would be the new level but we have no meter. :>

2300 is a lot...in fact, only two people (Flash and Jaedong) are over 2300 right now.
Flash is just...at 2400 instead.
