Hey chaos launcher thanks for the program it helps a lot.

I run Windows 7 64-bit with the latest version of chaoslauncher and starcraft broodwar. I have two bugs to report:

1) when I launch starcraft from chaos launcher my window gets set to 256 colors and I have to change it back to 32-bit manually.

2) when I try to get on battlenet using w-mode I get the message "battle.net was unable to properly identify your application version..."

Will these be addressed in a future version? Thank you and regards.

well I'm still getting RT errors, and if I can't use Windowed mode, I can't really play SCBW too often

When I got the RT errors I'd just end the program and restart it to make it work again.

I've done that before and it worked like that.

Nope just keeps on spitting RT errors at me. Even right after each other 0192948210481024981242 times in a row/whatever

problem is, the guy who made this w-mode didn't make it open source, and stopped developing it from what I read

Is there any way to get the ObsMode.bwp plugin working with Chaoslauncher? I can get the plugin to work with WLauncher. CL is much better than WLauncher, so I'd like to use ObsMode with it instead if possible.

With WLauncher installed, Obsmode appears in the CL plugin list. But it doesn't work when checked.

The following file moves didn't work:

Copying ObsMode.bwp file to the CL folder;
Copying ObsMode.bwp and InjHelp.dll to the CL folder;
Copying ObsMode.bwp and InjHelp.dll to the Starcraft\Plugins folder
Copying ObsMode.bwp to the CL folder and copying InjHelp.dll to the CL folder
Copying ObsMode.bwp and InjHelp.dll to the CL\Plugins folder
Copying ObsMode.bwp to the CL\Plugins folder and InjHelp.dll ito the CL folder;
Trying the above file locations with the WLauncher Plugins folder renamed, so that CL doesn't check it; and
Trying the above file locations while making sure there is no duplication of files.

Is there anything else I can try to make ObsMode work with Chaos? I'd really like to use ObsMode with CL, but I just can't figure out how.

Window mode works with minilauncher, but not iccup launcher or chaoslaucher, any tip? -_- Keep getting RT errors
Fullscreen works at least, but do not want to play with fullscreen zzzz

Yeah 404 here too... I will check my backup disks but I don't think I have it saved anywhere.

Hi .. Sorry for bumping this thread but I just want to ask how to play the chaoslauncer with iccup anti hack? or how can I use the APMalert while playing on iccup servers? or more specifically, will the iccup anti-hack gets activated when I use chaoslauncher instead of the iccup Launcher?

Would like to start playing with APMalert.

You can use iccup antihack with chaoslauncher, but not with the APM-Alert plugin. To use the iccup antihack just copy it into the chaoslauncher directory and choose ICCup as the version. That will disable the APM-Alert plugin. While you could circumvent that, the Antihack would consider you a hacker for using APM-Alert.

Don't know if this will work for anyone else, but I finally got W-MODE working again on Win7 64-bit after getting a lot of RT Errors. Check "Run this program as an administrator" for BOTH Chaoslauncher.exe and StarCraft.exe (or whatever file it is calling to run the game).

Are there any plans for chaoslauncher going on the mac? If not, is there anyway that I can get it on my mac without having to use bootcamp or anything that requires having to buy windows? I already used wine before, but I don't know how to use chaoslauncher and the iccup launcher to launch brood war on wine.
