Hello all, MasterOfChaos.

I'm having an error with the program. Basically SC2 loads up fine, 2x is on and it looks good. However as soon as I connect to battle.net U.S.East it gets smaller as in 1x mode even though the 2x button is still selected. Anyone else ever have that issue? Thanks for any information.

I believe this is normal.

Is it not supposed to be 2x on while playing on battle.net? I have a 23 inch monitor and the thing is only like 3x4 inches big lol...

Basically I want to stream BW on battle.net is it possible? Viewers on my stream cant see it

You could just set up (in xsplit anyways) another scene formatted just for the battle.net window, so your streamers dont get screwed over.
Other than that, everything is as intentioned. 2x of Battle.net would look terrible.

Does it size up again once you're ingame?
But even if it didn't work I couldn't do anything since I don't have the source code of W-Mode. You could reduce the resolution of your computer to something low(say 800x600) manually and then use single sized W-Mode.

Another option would be one of the resolution changer injections into BW. Though those might not be allowed in many bnet servers.

It is normal because it then 2x itself once you go in game.

I will try the 2x once I'm in game. I didn't yet. Also I noticed the quality on my game wasn't as good when in 2x. Maybe it would be best to just play around with xsplit or something.

Hey is am missing some plugins for some odd reason so i tried to fix it but still missing some.
Is there anyway to get plugins back in?

You redownloaded and extracted the archive? Which plugins are missing? And can you post your Chaoslauncher.log?

I missing the latency changer thats all and i did tried to extract the archive but idk if i done it right :\ and how do i find my Chaoslauncher.log?

You need to extract all files in the archive to the same directory. `Chaoslauncher.log` will appear in the same directory as chaoslaucher itself, provided it has write access to that directory.

Hello, I downloaded Chaoslauncher from the link provided in the op, and it did not have LatencyChanger in either the zip or after I extracted it. It only had the readme for LatencyChanger. I will post my Chaoslauncher.log since you requested the other fellow with the same problem do the same.

Windowed mode seems to have stopped working for some people for around 2 weeks. RT error

very strange. I just downloaded it and it contains a file called "LatencyChanger.bwl"

I can't help much with window mode since I didn't write it and don't have the source.

I'm having an issue recently with Brood War being abnormally sluggish when using Chaos Launcher / W-MODE.

Anyone have any thoughts on why this may be occurring?

It doesn't happen in safe mode and the ONLY thing I'm using in Chaos Launcher is W-MODE. When I use Chaos Launcher WITHOUT W-MODE it's fine (but of course is full screen, screws with my resolution, and has the color issue).

Try changing your monitor's screen refresh rate (increase it to the highest possible value that your monitor can display).

It's an LCD so changing the refresh rate isn't an option. ..but I suppose it can't hurt to try new display drivers. The last time I played was back in September of 2010 so heck if I can remember things that have changed since then.

[EDIT: Updating to the latest ATI drivers didn't fix it.]
