Win7-64 ChaosLauncher 0.5.3 BroodWar 1.16.1 Being the cautious type, I made a copy of Starcraft.exe before applying the multi-instance patch .bat file that comes with BWAPI. And then I connected to Battlenet to update to version 1.16.1. (I think I was on 1.15.2.) After much frustration, I finally figured (by way of the MSVC Debugger Attach dialog) that ChaosLauncher was launching "StarCraft - Copy.exe" instead of Starcraft.exe, so leaving the BWAPI plugin enabled would always crash Starcraft because it was the old version. There's probably something funny in the way CL finds the Starcraft.exe; maybe add a line to the CL window that lets the user see and change which executable you're about to launch? Thanks, Brent | ||

Link in the OP works for me. Seems like that it's sometimes down for a bit. @bschartung There is a combobox to the left of the start button from which you can choose which starcraft executable(from the same directory) you want. And if there are several installations of starcraft(in different directories) on your computer you can choose one in the "Settings" tab. | ||

Not sure what the cause of that error is. Perhaps SC isn't correctly installed or you don't have access to that registry entry(perhaps lacking admin privileges). Can you post your Chaoslaucher.log? @pinkranger15 You can use it(just copy the iccscbn.icc into the chaoslauncher directory), but you won't get any additional features. And it isn't officially supported by iccup. | ||

If you can't enter bnet when starting starcraft without Chaoslauncher then Chaoslauncher isn't responsible. Some old versions of AdvLoader set to passive mode might cause problems. @Thehummel You can't switch between window and fullscreen at runtime. The only thing you can do in doubling the window size and locking the cursor. To switch to fullscreen you need to restart starcraft. | ||

You could use some tricks to use both the iccup plugin and APM-Alert at the same time, but then the iccup anti-hack would ban you. | ||

Every time I open chaoslauncher, admin privileges or not, I will get these two error messages: "Search for plugins failed. the directory name is invalid (267)" "Search for pluginsubdirectories failed. the directory name is invalid (267)" The launcher seems to work regardless of the two error messages, but I'm wondering what to they mean, and how do I fix it? Also, whenever I update it asks me to update the same three things every time, even after it updated (admin privileges or not). Thanks in advance! EDIT: OS // Windows 7x64 | ||
