Presenting the Steve Jung vs Jumper Grudge Match!
This beef started a year ago when Jumper innocently came into Steve's stream and gave some friendly advice on how to defeat 12Nex. This backseating transgression from an inferior 160 apm Ape Pusagi greatly offended our Terran hero Steve, and some choice words were said. After that day. Steve and Jumper no longer see eye to eye and stopped interacting with one another... until one day when fate brought them together on ladder (link:www.youtube.com) where Steve was the victor. Afterward Steve issued a challenge to Jumper (link:clips.twitch.tv). Finally, MurryBaby88 offered to throw $50 down on a grudge match and the rest will soon be history. Join us this coming Saturday/Sunday for the matches and find out who comes out victorious in the biggest starcraft grudge match of all time!
You can donate to the prize pool to increase the hype for this event, and potentially if we reach $100 in total Prize Pool (and if theres enough time) we can convince Steve and Jumperer to play an extra game on a meme map, such as Crazy Critters or Chrysallis.

FT5(Bo9). First map will be Polypoid, and loser picks next map. Maps that win from the voting pool must be picked every other game.

I feel like the Jumper's image in the post is not as epic as Steve's and that's a problem with winning over the fans and the swing Zerg vote. I am hoping for humiliation within the game but I suspect we will see trash talk more than anything. Would be interesting either way for a non Zerg grudge... ^_._^

The original plan for the image was to have them facing off, but due to time constraints/last second nature of this event I had to take some creative liberties with the image

I blame Jumper for that line in the description 
A caster is a great idea and something others have suggested privately to me, however I only know a few casters personally where I'd feel comfortable asking them to give up their time for the event, and I'll need to make sure with both streamers that they're fine with it as well. So if anyone is interested in casting the event, let me know on here, reddit, or Discord (Redmund#7137)

I believe this was discussed on both streams when this last second plan came through, and was decided that because neither player has time to learn these versions (even if they really aren't fundamentally that different) they preferred to use the old versions that they are familiar with.
I was asked to throw everything together as quickly as possible for this event, as both streamers are quite busy IRL. Due to everything being last minute this was all hastily planned. Sadly as much as I love the new maps and would like to include them, changing it on them now probably won't work. Going forward if I ever organize more BW events I'm definitely going to force the players to use the maps you guys made though!
Players have changed their minds, we are going to be using the new versions of the maps from the map contest in the voting pool!

The idea was both players had a 'signature' under their name which is the reason for the fonts. I made the graphic in-between work calls and time was of the essence so making it prettier wasn't feasible kek. However, I appreciate the advice!

BTW everyone, got the official word from the streamers so we are looking for Caster(s) who want to stream and commentate the event! If you are interested shoot me a DM. It's a Bo9 (FT5) so the total length is expected to be most likely 2 hours but may go for longer depending on how the games go.

True grudge matches should have the players put in some money in the pot as well, it's better if they have some skin in the game.
Right now Jumper doesn't risk anything by accepting the challenge, and it's a win-win for him since he gets attention even if he gets outclassed. I'd like to see them both put in 100 bucks or I think this kinda gets invalidated.
Some of the vote-in maps are also a bit too broken by modern standards. I would advise to mix in some of the newer decent maps, such as Dark Origin, Paradiso, etc
