Hey guys,
Moletrap and I have gotten several messages asking for clarification of terms in our broodwar commentaries and a couple people requesting a general tutorial of the game.
We are planning on putting a series of vids together called "A guide to watching Broodwar"
Here is a list of the some of terms we have so far:

off the top of my head.
- People also use the term "Maynarding" to describe the transfer of workers from one base to another to maximize gathering efficiency. Named after the first player to do it of course, Maynard.
- All in/All out attack. Whatever you call it.

First of all, I really like the idea. This would be very valuable for beginners, casual players or people who just came back to BW because of the SC2 hype.
I would concentrate on game mechanics rather than actual units, buildings, or upgrades though. For example, explain terms like Contain, Proxy, Natural, Push rather than Stim or DT. You can always look those up in the compendium.

Good luck doing this! Would be great to have some reference VODs that explain BW slang.

Deep6 is going terran against protoss, and getting MM + ghost + a few tanks instead of Metal. It was used by a select few pro gamers in the past. It is extremely hard to do (300 APM +), and pretty easy to counter with protoss tech(40 APM -). It is called deep6 because when in midgame production you have 6 raxes pumping

That's not true.
Came from the Mandarin (Chinese) term "gao shou", which literally means "high hand". A gao shou is someone with a large amount of skill.

doom drop - A mass drop which will do much damage. Often a Zerg thing, but probably also used in TvT I guess. And with Protoss too if they use recall?
stop lurker - Burrowed lurkers grouped with an overlord which are then put "on hold": they won't attack the enemy until you put them in "stop" or "attack" mode
cow or imbalisk - ultralisk
ball - usually a sizeable Terran army which is often tough to kill because of their firepower

Man that website has a lot of bad stuff, but a lot of good stuff as well
Manner Pylon/Supply Depot/Creep Colony (pretty sure it hasn't been mentioned yet) = using a Pylon to trap a peon mining a mineral placed farther out than its adjacent minerals.
Doom Gateway = Double Manner Pylon with two Gate Zealot pump after the Pylons finish.
To add onto CustomXSpunjah's FD ...
FD is attacking with 3-5 Marines, 1 Vulture, 1 Tank to fool Protoss players into thinking that they went on a dual-Factory rush.

we've heard like 10 terms for this kind of drop by now. To add another, I know it as an "elevator drop" or simply "elevator".
