Hey guys,
Moletrap and I have gotten several messages asking for clarification of terms in our broodwar commentaries and a couple people requesting a general tutorial of the game.
We are planning on putting a series of vids together called "A guide to watching Broodwar"
Here is a list of the some of terms we have so far:
4-pool Build Order Rush Cheese Cliff Drop Drop DTs Contain Mins/Res Expansion/Secondary/natural expand tech up tech hidden tech heavy metal Proxy Push Scout Stim Zealot/tank/etc bomb
If you guys have any more terms or small video clips of units we could use in this constuction it would be of great service.
Thanks!

- Flank - Choke Point off the top of my head. - People also use the term "Maynarding" to describe the transfer of workers from one base to another to maximize gathering efficiency. Named after the first player to do it of course, Maynard. - All in/All out attack. Whatever you call it.

2inch drop, or alternatively 3cm drop (ie when you ladder units up or down elevation change with dropship through multiple trips)

First of all, I really like the idea. This would be very valuable for beginners, casual players or people who just came back to BW because of the SC2 hype.
I would concentrate on game mechanics rather than actual units, buildings, or upgrades though. For example, explain terms like Contain, Proxy, Natural, Push rather than Stim or DT. You can always look those up in the compendium.
From the top of my head: Flank Push break Map control Metal / Bio
Good luck doing this! Would be great to have some reference VODs that explain BW slang.

block generally means blocking for terran?
Who else knows what deep6 is? I never heard of that term.
The term in Korean that means newb starting with H is hujub.
