nice review !
speaking about resolution, when you see that more and more people play on a 19" screen i definitly find it too bad that blizzard did not think of a patch that allows 800x600, it looks horrible on this kind of screen.
but anyways i'm one of the guys who'll nerver forget and always have fun playing this game

A couple of minor suggestions that really don't matter since this is for a gaming website but might be a little more applicable if you were handing this in as schoolwork. I wouldn't even bother brining it up if it wasn't obvious you put a bit of effort and thought into it.

-you use the word "today" a lot. For example it shows up in each of the last two sentences which gives a slightly cumbersome feel. Maybe replace the first "today" with "currently" or something else to give more variety.

-your diction remains at a very professional level except at one spot where you insert the term "mind-boggling" which is very much more colloquial. Try to maintain the same style throughout the article. This point gets raised in many essays at the HS/college level.

Otherwise, very nicely done.

plz die, it would change the game so much if higher resolutions were allowed, even if it just make the pics more accurate, the whole game core should be made from many points. I'm quite sure that the higher the res gets, the worse the little amount of colors look and if you increase the colors, it'll also change the code so much. AND THE GAME LOOKS COOL! NOT HORRIBLE!

Very good, I might try to answer the question of why it is balanced on all terrains. Yes blizzard did a great job of balancing the game, but it wasn't them that made it so versitile a balance. Blizzard gave gamers reasonably balanced strengths and weaknesses. More importantly they created a game with versitility still unparallelled. But it was the sheer size and strength of the comunity that balanced BW. When someone found an issue with the balance, thousands of smart people expirimented to find the solution.
