It's easy to find useful tips on YouTube. Summarized it comes down to avoiding pressure points and avoiding tension.

In addition to what the others suggested: Do you have big hands? I think the combination of big hands (long fingers) + relatively hard-to-press mouse-buttons can cause issues that a player with "normally" sized hands wouldn't even notice. You have to move more flesh/bone with each click (and that thousands of times), there's more strain on your joints each time, and you can get through life pretty easily these days without having the "proper" fore-arm-muscles to fit your bigger hand-/finger-size. I at least had to put away lots of mice because the clicking was just too much for my joints after a while (and because, if you have big hands, there aren't that many big enough and yet light mice). I even opened my current mouse and fixed the weight you have to put on the buttons to register, it's not that complicated to do actually if you're willing to take a small risk of maybe ruining one mouse (you can use a cheap, old one to test it).

Also if you are doing workouts with weight/ bodyweight/ acrobatics you normally have a warmuproutine for your wrists. Just google that stuff and steal a routine. Should be in the range of 5min e: i do this before i do handstand training (starts at 50s)

Otherwise, as others have mentioned here, posture and angle of wrist to mouse is key for good blood flow.

http://www.ironmind.com/ this is a good book to start with https://www.ironmind-store.com/Mastery-of-Hand-Strength-Revised-Edition/productinfo/1273/ of course, over all body strengthening is critical to attaining top notch grip, hand and finger strength. having very strong grip, hand and finger strength is a great preventative measure for avoiding repetitive strain injuries.

There's an old horror story - not sure if factual - about the legendary pianist Robert Schumann. He allegedly permanently injured his hand due to repeated use of a finger strengthening device. My mom's job was teaching people how to move better/taught musicians to play without injury. It's always better to have an overall strong and healthy body but from what I gather it'd be the wrong approach to squeeze things tightly to increase finger strength to play video games etc... don't hurt yourselves kids! ![]() *also this might be helpful: youtube link
