Well you go the standard 2 rax build, place a fact and build a starport after your fact is done. You can either do this to: Rush for a dropship and drops zergs main with your choke containing army Get a vessel quick for detection regular play. Get 2 tanks with no siege and a vessel (instead of tanks with siege) so you can push lurkers really fast early game. (tank of range without siege > lurker range). Then make siege while you push out to have it when you face sunkens. | ||

Then I started moving my probe around but the zealot froze after it killed my scv. I was like "wtf?" thinking that it would unfreeze if I attacked it. so there goes my probe to attack the zealot but as I discovered, the zealot remained frozen. My probe slayed the zealot. :D | ||

Yes but if you can never pass those first 10 minutes then there is no point in learning how to multitask. Therefore you might as well get as good as possible at the early period of the game so that being a good multitasker has any real use. The best way to practice Starcraft if your aim is to simply win as often as possible is to always just play regular games in my opinion. But if you just want a fun game that will help your multitasking at the same time then go for it. I'm just saying if your main aim is to be super gosu then don't bother ever playing these practice UMS maps. And I'm just disregarding the fact that you think it takes 10 minutes before micro/macro play starts. Good players start almost right away with worker harass. If you want to be a good multitasker then start worker harassing more and after that stage in the game it starts to progress to normal micro/macro and this only takes like 5 minutes, certainly not 10. And even if someone cheeses, you still need to multitask because as you are trying to micro to stop the cheese you should be continuing to pump workers and other units and buildings. | ||

I gave both a try, and found Terran MUCH harder than Protoss. For me, it was almost impossible to keep my MMs alive against Sunken + Lurker while keeping the probe alive while spend money to build more stuff. Protoss on the other hand was much easier, especially with the zealot-won't-chase-my-probe bug ^_^ | ||
