EPTI have played two full (8 players) games in the last 20 mins, and both I was just randomly disconnected from. I drop back to lobby and everything looks fine, my internet never stopped working, no lag prior... just complete instantaneous drop.

To be clear, this sound bug may also occur even when using the mouse- or directional keys to quickly scroll some distance away from a given area where sounds effects are playing (i.e not just when "clicking the minimap"), and it could also occur even when the scrolling-distance isn't as great as outlined above ("one screen away"). I haven't really tested it myself, only observed the issue while watching streams of people playing 1.18 just now. | ||

It is annoying (not grown out of my anti-1.18-mentality). I get confused all the time and I'm worried I accidentally hit ctrl+s and turned the sound off that way. | ||

I have disabled all firewalls and no other programs have an issue using the internet. Google brings up a few posts detailing the same issue with no resolution. | ||

Fecalfeast, I've had this issue before on 1.16. All I had to do was to open port 6112 on my router and put my computer in the DMZ. | ||

Also, friends list seems semi-useless and good god why can't I double click to "okay" on the server list? Whose brilliant idea was it to have you leave a channel when you're making a game/looking to join a game? Holy crap. | ||

Always says invalid password lol no matter what. Any idea? Maybe this is something that just doesn't work. Anyone else try? Another thing also, when laddering on Fish, you can spam different users very quickly (e.g. FFFFFFFF) and just do it rapidly for many. In 1.18, i don't see a way to do it. It seems like you have to manually type /w [username] FFFF to do it which is VERY time consuming. Am I missing something? FOR THE GOOD: I initially thought in game was a little choppy and weird. But I encourage all to tinker with the in-game video settings. I ended up disabling vertical sync and i put the fps cap setting to the lowest. That made it REALLY smooth and good for me. After this, I tinkered with the mouse settings like sensitivity and mouse scroll. I got it to a comfortable setting. I really like it and i find it to be far smoother than 1.16. The latency is incredible, truly LOW latency. fyi all this testing was done on Fish. | ||
