Copy-pasting it to some other directory will most likely work fine. I'd assume they just look at the InstallPath key in the registry (or look at something involving the Windows Installer). I would definitely assume they are *not* searching every drive/folder to find any instance of 1.16.1 to eradicate  | ||

unfortunately, definitely a no. Administration at this point has no strong interest in doing so im afraid and doesn't have proficient voluntary coders to do so. Broodwar has been running as a side project on the iccup server for some years, while the focus shifted to Dota[1]. That also means, that the employed personnel of ICCup is not available for this in general. I left ICCup as an admin two weeks ago or so and had some talk with the people in charge about this subject. So im afraid this is a certainty at this point. Other question: What's the state of the official servers atm? Is there anything going on? Moderation, events? I already read there's no ladder in place and actually i don't see a good reason to play on 1.18 if it means screwing over my 1.16 installtion with all the launchers and plugins. I would need to set up a second installation, which wouldn't be trivial. Well, third installation if i count the Version that's compatible to chinese VS server lol. | ||
