It's supposed to leave zerg with more options, e.g. a 2 hatch build. If that creep colony wasn't there, zergs would have to place a 3rd hatchery so that they can put sunken colonies at their choke.
ridiculous comeback. wtf i've never seen a zerg get their drones raped by a timing rush and get their spire killed and still win the game with pure muta micro. sair made a total of 20 turrets and yellow still raped him with pure muta
Y[arnc] clearly outclassed his opponent. For maybe half a minute during the rush, it looked like the Terran was going to win; after that it was Yarnc all the way. True, he got a decent number of drones and took down the spire, but focusing on the spire allowed Yarnc to kill his whole strike force with the mutas. If Sair was good enough to deal with that first wave of mutas, maybe killing the spire would have done something for him, but as it was, Yarnc had plenty of time and then some to rebuild it while his mutas harassed. From then on, the Terran was spending a ton of resources on static defense and never had the advantage again.
Granted, it was somewhat impressive that Yellow managed to finish the game with nearly nothing but mutas despite all the turrets that Sair built, but that just underscores the skill difference between them.
Dude.. a 2 hatch muta build where the spire and drones go down? vs 2 base Terran.. why even go into details? how can it not be a great game by the zerg... :S
I second that. Oversky vs. Frozean is a must to watch.
Regarding Yarnc vs. Sair. I would also recommend the game. Maybe I'm just a noob but I was pretty suprised by the outcome and I found it enjoyable. And even if one argues that it wasn't the best game skillwise it was still more exciting than most of the recent proleague games.
