For maybe half a minute during the rush, it looked like the Terran was going to win; after that it was Yarnc all the way. True, he got a decent number of drones and took down the spire, but focusing on the spire allowed Yarnc to kill his whole strike force with the mutas. If Sair was good enough to deal with that first wave of mutas, maybe killing the spire would have done something for him, but as it was, Yarnc had plenty of time and then some to rebuild it while his mutas harassed. From then on, the Terran was spending a ton of resources on static defense and never had the advantage again. Granted, it was somewhat impressive that Yellow managed to finish the game with nearly nothing but mutas despite all the turrets that Sair built, but that just underscores the skill difference between them. | ||
