My answer is - yes they are. Deception is available as a part of the MOTM 2000 at SC Compendium. There's also an enhanced version with soundtrack available from EAvatar's Liquidize105 right here. Both Deception and Resurrection IV are available on Blizzforum. The quality of the triggers in Re:IV is barely decent, but the terrain is supposedly 1:1. You can get an idea of what it's like from this recreation. The story is considered canon in each case. | ||

Specifics! I can get them fixed. ~LoA Text: The most obvious is the way the text is lined up - format it so it's indented and in a paragraph. Also the pacing of the text, it scrolls by too fast. This goes for the briefing and especially in-game. SFX: The sound file for the convo that takes place when you find the civ is missing (let's wax 'em/wait, don't shoot). Many of the portals and stuff are missing sfx as well. Bugs: The terran civ ->tank thing at the beginning transfers ownership/vision of the beacon too. The laser fence thingy only activates when all tanks/bunkers/marines/bats have died. You could easily have a unit already on the other side when the last enemy unit dies. There's a narrow passage on the high ground after the laser defense that doesn't allow large units to travel back once it's gone through it. My archon was simply stuck there in my last playthrough. The ending: The big rush to get out of there is disappointing with NO enemy pursuit. All of the non-hero units are just left-behind while the heroes fly away... If the original was done like this it was done unprofessionally by a lesser mapper at Blizzard. In general blizzard's pretty good at preserving the uniformity of the story, hence the units should be "picked up" ala "escape from auir." By giving an obs to the player, you allow him to see the embarrassing cloaked wraith that spawn in before they explode at the end. Cloaked wraiths that are spawned for their death animation should die immediately. Lazy triggering! I've also encountered game not ending when Raynor dies, the get-a-tank mess up on me, but I don't remember if it's the 1 or 2-player version. | ||
