These guys are just always cranking out ridiculously amazing games whenever they play each other.
I guess we have to thank Larva for that as he basically produces high-quality games against anyone. That's not going to make this any less entertaining. Stork produces some ridiculously close holds against ling and hydra pushes than does some out-of-the world Zealot control that really got me all nostalgic. It all comes inevitably crashing down on Larva but then he just keeps grinding so it takes awhile and I'm thankful for that because it produces a rare, arresting dance of death.
After watching now most of the old BW pros streaming and trying to put fanboyisms aside, I think Stork's POV if one of the most, if not the most satisfying to watch.
The whole video has some good-to-great-to amazing pvz's but why I'm posting it especially are matches 2 and 3 where Stork tries to negate the quick third of the Zerg at another main's natural with cannons. Pretty interesting strat. and when it worked it was really effective.
Well I understand the psychology of scarcity but man I still wish Stork and Larva would play more.
Highly recommended series, especially the first match of the series which for me is one of the matches of the year so far. It seems like it might be for the taking by one and then the other, or another, or this other one - again - and this tug-of-war goes on for about 50 minutes.
Yeah it was quite wacky but I guess that is something toss has to adopt to. Stork didn't even start to tech to carriers in his main as if losing it was a foregone conclusion.
Still seems pretty hard for Terran even if they can expand to the original Protoss base.
The map is ripe for carriers to pick the terran army apart.
Yea, I was at first worried since every game I saw (and just from the basic layout) was really good for Tank pushes and some Toss tied trying to defend them.
But yea if you just adapt to losing your Main and expand into the third world (Yikes), it is actually really decent for Protoss.
This map certainly produces interesting, new kinds of games, it will be interesting to see how the meta further develops.
