The randomizer has also been modified to only select protoss. We found out when we played a race war and everyone scouted Protoss and we just all allied up and won.

So everytime I click anything, say replay, or create, I get the message: Installation problems detected, couldnt connect to local sb service, ensure youve got the latest version, etc. As far as I can tell I have the latest version, I even uninstalled SB and reinstalled it (through the installer linked in the error message) only to get the same error message again. Also did restart computer.

SB was working initially when I got into the beta a few months back, havent used it since.

Had a similar problem in the beginning.
Went through quite some troubleshooting with tec27 but ultimately I had to uninstall broodwar, reinstalled and patched it up not with the blizzard patcher but with a patch provided by tec27. That solved it for me and apparently fpr someone else before me.
If you are online on SB you can whisper me in the half hour right now or later tomorrow and I can share what I have done.
