Someone mention that uniqueness is vital. I agree with this and I also think that since this is a sport, I don't think that they recruit any differently than recruiters for other sport. I think that after they choose you, they would want to have dinner or something where the captain and the manager can see if your personality fits into the team. They would want to see how focused you are and what are your dreams. Since there are so many people in korea trying to become pro, I would assume that the deciding factor is style and originality.

Actually, from the interview with Bejjang (ex POS coach, now in SKT T1) it would appear this is not at all what they are looking for. They want a mass gaming, high APM player (for instance, july used to be a 1300 gamei zerg - this is very low btw - but because of his work ethic - 30 games a day - he became the zerg that he is today).

In the tryouts with OGN he went 3-3 if I recall correctly. More than anything else, the team thought very highly of his attitude and hard work, so they took him in and used one of their non-courage progamer exceptions on Draco.

I remember an interview with the MBC coach (then POS) concerning July. The coach said that the reason he thought July would become a great player was because he was incredibly fast and had good mechanics. Tactical and strategic play is something anyone can learn, but not everyone is blessed with amazingly fast hands. As we know, July did more than well. So at least the MBC coach seems to know what BW is about. I mean, if you don't understand the game, then you're a fucking retard. You don't even need average intelligence to play BW strategically and tactically sound. On the other hand, you have to think rather quickly for the times games aren't going according to plan or typical play. But if you don't have a quick mind, you also won't get fast in BW. Speed, speed, speed and finally speed. (if they want a champ.) Looks, personality, charisma who's good enough if they want someone the fans will cheer for. (girls mostly, but korean boys are also girls.. ![]()

Competetively I loved using Kabal and Ermac and sometimes Jade For fun/looks/liked to draw I liked Rain/any ninja really, Cyrax/Sektor and Baraka Another competetive fighting game I loved was Killer Instinct for all us old school SNES gamers~ Glacius ftw.
