The closest comparison is top 50 grand master korean server and that number might be top 10.
People who're descent in ICCup (C ish) is equivalent to a D ranked fish player (if not an F ranked one, I haven't laddered at all on fish so I might very well be wrong).

You know, there is something called fun. Even if it isn't the highest of all play it is still fun to watch them play. Your comparison is really bad since a good show in BW doesn't have to be 100% perfect games.

Someone who plays on Fish and knows about it more would have a better answer but I think B on Fish is pretty much the equivalent of Grandmaster in SC2, going by how many people are able to achieve it.
From what I heard about fish D rank players on there are like C/C+ On Iccup, and you regularly well kinda see pro streamers losing games at D/C so that has to give some evidence for how high up they are
if you're D rank on fish, you're B+ or higher on iccup... if you can maintain like like 30-40 record with 700ish points at F rank on fish ur like C+ iccup....

No offense but JD vs forgg was not fun to watch at all. Forgg just failed badly and JD was only mediocre.

If the fish ranking system is still the same as a few months ago, there are 60 people with B rank or better right now. So I guess it would be top 60 KR grandmaster in sc2 terms.
looking at fish ranks now, ranks 60~16 are B 15~5 are A and 4~1 is S :o so you were right on the money on 60 lol
keep in mind some people have multiple accounts. example: current #5 [neox]carp and #6 terran are both hiya, #2 [neox]hong9 and #10 electricity both larva, #9 taekdol and #15 na1st both bisu etc, so it's even fewer people.
Just curious, will there be a Korean restream of this match? I'd be very interested in the viewership, although it's probably a really bad timezone for them.

Ya, it was a shame Forgg failed really bad and the game was so short but I wouldn't call it a shame to the players or a fail by the organizers since it's just for fun.

there was quite a high ranked player (1470) on fish before the system change, telling me the same.
