when i came back i made a new account. I was using an account previously made on original bnet. Maybe if you make a new account that you didn't use on original bnet, then you won't have the bug with it

i think an issue is that they don't understand the point of view of players and they don't play that much, they don't have the passion for RTS gaming like the original conceptors so they don't test that much and don't care that much and make huge blunders and take really long to realize
maybe they're like "oh, it doesn't matter that much, it's just a few stat points" or something
or they actually failed to read reports or understand how to code the thing properly
ofc its more than annoying that we have to fucking write reports online on everything cause it wasnt tested, like, i'm probably out of here soon again
PS: Jan 8 midnight: again today, login, queue, estimated 60sec, wait 180sec no game, I log off. Most of the time like this. got something else to play, I think I'm out. Too bad, map pool is great. Good ladder on public server with good chat and interface is all we needed. This is my #1 favorite game. When i get to play its great games, but this doesn't do it for me. See ya later I guess.

Can somebody explain to me what 350 apm players are doing at 1300 mmr? I'm salty cause the matches i have against these people aren't fair and even though I know apm isn't a direct correlation to skill it's so obvious they're not plebs. I get executed in 5 mins...

They are quiting on purpose to get to a lower MMR to stump noobs. This happens in pretty much every game with a ranking system.
This will give you the authentic iccup experience though, where most D ranked players are smurfs.

People who demote themselves purposefully to stomp on newbs are pathetic imo..but there is a vast difference between finding good players at 1500 or D on iccup (who are likely starting a new account and just want to rank up) and 1300/D- on iccup (where you wouldve had to actually lose a bunch of games at the starting rank to get there). That being said, it is still not necessarily purposeful, someone couldve had a run of bad luck in matching up against several 1500ish current players that are also starting new accounts and are better than him. There are many levels of skill in BW, its not unfathomable that any player whos max MMR is below say 2k lose a few games first and drop below 1500 at the start of their ladder journey.

It was a while ago but has always seemingly followed me. I won't lie, stuff bothers me more than it should, but on the other hand I like just shootin' shit with people about brood war. A number of people would just randomly give me crap, and one most of all.

I've been playing SCR from the start and I'm seeing a lot less zergs in matchmaking. I'm playing in Korea and my mmr is only 1300. Is it cuz I'm just too low mmr or is there a real zerg shortage? So many toss and Terran. My PvT is pretty fun. Pvp is okay. But my PvZ needs the most practice. Definitely the hardest match up for me. I'd rather face tanks than speedlings with dark swarm.
