EPTthis was happening alot in 1.13 and I figured it was cause someone was using a hack (i play alot of 3v3 korean hunters games) but its been happening even more frequently now with 1.14 it just happened 3 minutes ago but this time broodwar just totally quit and gave me a stupid "save your work" error... ya ill save my work in bw? o.O

It has happened to me many times. Not at all against hackers or such though.. Have every game ever against a hacker saved | ||

Because FYI there are a few things ingame that can corrupt a replay (some you can actually reproduce T_T), and if you try to save it, it'll freeze for EVERYONE who tries to save the rep, and of course, the rep is fuxx0rzed. | ||

When a tank explode the replay is corrupt as if it was from wrong patch, not corrupt as in bw freeze. As I said I have replays against mineralhackers so I dont think that's it either =o I strongly believe that in most cases it's caused by a bug and If it happends to you more often then what's resonable to accept then reinstall | ||

Also, TURN OFF PenguinPlug's auto-replay saving! If you have it on, then BW will freeze when PP tries to save the rep automatically, just like it freezes when you click Save Replay. This happens when you click End Game after winning. | ||

The most common cause is usually lag. If the game is not smooth then the replay is corrupted. | ||

Same thing happens to me, just use the autoreplay thingy, then don't save the replay, and if you load it into bwchart or something, it will just say "1 replay corrupted" or what not.
