Haven't watched all of them yet, but yes this looks more like the old stuff. You're right about how insane shit didn't happen every day but DA maelstorms were pimp plays in like 2000-2002? not sure, especially by grrr and some other toss i can't remember Queens are a new age, I guess which is kinda cool to see. But I don't recall much Ghost usage at all(boxer did it shitload, really made for great comebacks) Remember a few Flash games where he nuked his enemies in longer games though. Anyways, nice video compilation still checking it out. I wanted to say that in the older days tactical moves were more rewarding, mostly because macro wasn't that developed. So very good micro alone won you games, now it's both. Like comebacks on MICRO alone are almost non-existant, except if it's very early game or when defending cheese(tempest goon control is 0_O). | ||

The oldest game I linked was from 2007, and every other game was 2008 or later. There were dark archons in the old pimpest plays, but also in the new stuff I was talking about. Movie used them in PvZ and PvP, and there's a replay on this website that has a Protoss using maelstrom vs drops. I just remembered Jangbi used maelstrom in a recent OSL as well, although it wasn't very pimp because his templar that was going to storm them got stuck behind some units and couldn't make it there in time. | ||
