Russian cyberfight interviewrs at WCG interviewed Androide after his win vs Leg. I translated it for you, although my english isn't good at all. So here it is:
Hi Andrey, you just won Leg 2:0. Tell us, please, something about the games.
Hello, at first I want to say that I am really dissapointed because I can't see Ex at other side of the bracket in the final. We were going to do that, but, unfortunately he trained TvZ not that much. And chinese got lucky and won, really - it was a luck. Ex should be in final, or at least get 3rd place. Regarding to my games vs Leg: in both games I was loosing, but was able to win, pull out the games, I don't know how I done it.
Could you give more details?
I decided not to show strategies, but to play at maximum of capabilities tomorrow with Foru. I don't what will happen tomorrow, but I wont be nervous.
So you didn't lose a singe game today?
Yes. Regarding to group games - those loses - my an Ex's - was thrown games. I wanted to meet Xellos in single elimination, but, unfortunately met Silent_Control. I wanted to beat Xellos, but, at the same time, was rather afraid of that match. Eventually Silent_Control owned Xellos, and I owned Silent_Control.

I've been somewhat of a fan ever since that first TLT tour when I saw him on top, and downloaded a tvz. He ended up building an eng bay, and a depot at the zerg's expo at 9, which totally blocked all zerglings, and killed the zerg's hatch with marines. I was like "whoa, that was sweet" heh.
Haha, I love the drama this creates too. I'll be a Russian fan for a day just to see the shit that's caused when a foreigner goes through 2 koreans to win WCGs. Wow that would be cool.
When he is at the top of his game, certainly the best foreigner outside of korea. No doubt about it. I am glad he did so well this year, because of last year's troubles. GL to him. I highly doubt Ex was 'luckily' beaten by Storm. Ex is good, but not > storm.

Koreans are going to bring the baseball bat tomorrow. watchout!
We can hate Androide for whatever reason. It is a personal preference. Anyone saying we can't hate him because of his bad manner since he's a great player is like saying we can't dislike Mariah Carey as a singer since she is a guiness record holder of highest pitch. That's fuckin bullshit. We can choose to like/dislike for whatever reason we please. Especially if you have a choice of 500 different players. I hate him because he's an arrogant jumpy BM player. We had a poll here at tl.net whether people consider skill or manner to be more important and the manner part dominated the skill part largely in the poll so there is really no argument there.Especially when it was you people who voted in the thread lol. I voted skill though. But regarding skill to be more important than manner doesn't mean I have to like him for his skills when there are many players who sufficiently have both qualities.
Well if you decided to have a sudden change of thought because of the WCG this year, you really lack your own opinion. See the dominant voice of TL.net was that manner is more important than skill. Period.
If you're a newbie member of the TL.net I'll cut you some slacks
I realy wanted nonkorean to win, but due toAndroides arogance i changed my mind. I hope that ForU will kick his ass, as hard it is possible. And we will never see that badmannered jerk in any turnament.
Somehow i find Testies arogance 100 times more charming.

JESUS CHRIST DUDE
people did not give up "manner", its just that it is THAT important that a non korean win over a korean at wcg, even if it is the fucking antichrist, i dont care who the fuck it is as long as we can say that nonkoreans dont suck as bad as koreans say
2-0 sounds like ownage to me. Gotta love androide. Honestly, we wouldn't be talkin this much about him if he wasn't for hisreputation, obviously he has u guys attention. Theres like 4 threads going on about him right now. Its fun to have a guy like that in this game. and i swear if anyone says "manner > skill" one more time, i'll fuckin kill em. WTF does that have to do with anything. theres fuckin big money at stake here. and these guys put in lots of hours to get here. U think they are worried about manner when they play? or thinkin about just winning.. damn..stfu with that manner shit already. ITS a competition. u gotta have that extra ooomph to seperate urself. for those of u who kno baseball, do u think Roger Clemens dominated over the years based on just his fuckin talent alone?? Hell no, u guys will describe him as BM, but its that BM that pumps him up for game to do what he does. look at all the greatest atheletes ever, they had that edge. not comparing androide to them but u get my point. so again, till this becomes a personality contest please stfu with the manner shit.

no one is forcing you to like anyone you are taking someones meaningless comment too far. i helped androide train before wcg2003 and he was very nice to me even though he couldnt speak very much english. i just asked him for a game in a channel one day, he accepted and we ended up playing about 5 in a row then every day after we played a few cuz he wanted to get ready for tvp in wcg. Over time I noticed he had an arrogant side but if you think boxer, nada, reach or any other top korean player is not arrogant deep down you are mistaken. Just like in real sports, all top players have and extreme amount of self confidence and he just chooses to show it. do you know how boring it would be if everyone was perfectly manner on bw?
i'm not surprised foreigners care about manner more than skill now, thats why almost everyone sucks outside of korea, they have no edge to their game and just play to play and then complain about koreans being too good. maybe if everyone started talking trash more they would play a bit harder and get a bit better. you might be surprised how much that aspect of video games corresponds to real sports.
well you might say "koreans dont talk shit to each other in their proteams". well no but they have coaches to motivate them and im sure competition between different teams is quite fierce.
Androide is arrogant and he should be, he's damn good and is in the WCG Finals against a korean pro he knows he can beat after just putting Silent_Control to shame.

that could be a translation issue though
no the translation is pretty accurate for the most part. some things are left out, but theyre not important. as for whether or not he owned silent_control, the words are taken from his mouth and the translation here is exact... actually "owned" isnt quite harsh enough ^^, but it works
Foru has the potential to be arrogant and overconfident as well(In game). Let's hope he won't throw away the game like he did with Nada when he made 50 gates and got himself fucked over real bad.

lets hope so, and then lets hope androide walks all over him :D

on the other hand one often leads to another, so id say theyre pretty fucking closely related
Gotta love the Androide bandwagon. I don't care if a foreigner wins, I mean, it would be cool for a foreigner to win a WCG, but I'm rooting for ForU 100% in this final. Besides, he needs the kespa points more
Lost devil, I hope by no means that you're suggesting shittalking actually helps foreign bw players get better so it's ok to shittalk and BM. That's just a statement a 5 year old would make. A strong determination, endless practice and creativity is what gets you better not some stupid shittalking. A greatest motivation is through compliment not through shittalking. I hope you don't raise your kid that way.
1ytm, im talking about a video game not raising my child, i dont even have a kid. that was a shitty point u made. a statement a five year old would make? they dont even know what talking shit is. a strong determination, endless practice.. seen a number of people have those, they got no where. they were never forced into games that they felt had a true meaning. I'm just saying then when someone is shit talking in a channel to me and I feel i need to beat him down im gonna play harder and try to play better than before. Most would. Being forced into a must win situation where if you lose ure gonna get flamed for a while for it can make people better.
Yes, I am a proponent for shittalking online after I came back from a 6 month break. Before I was Mr. Manner, but it gets boring fast and gets you no where even faster.

Lostdevil so you are actually suggesting that shittalking and BM makes nobody a somebody and it improves your ability to play better. No further comments. I don't really feel like debating with someone with junior high school mentality. So good luck with your shitalking and your theory.

yeah no further comment, ure a fucking retard. all hes saying is shit talking increases your desire to do better and win the matches. whether it is youre the one talking shit, and have to back it up with something, or ure being talked shit to and you want to stomp the person. its a question of motivation, not direct effect. shit talking does not make u better in a sense that practice does. but it makes u more motivated, and motivation is a large part of this game. i havent met/interacted wtih a lot of gosus, but the one ive met are extremely nice in person, and total asses online. in many cases shit talking is just for fun and stirs up healthy competition.
Almost all good foreign players were known for their "special things". Like Leg with his winking, and Elky with his sunglasses and NTT with his shitty behavior and Grrr with his sexy smile ... I mean, c'mon, even in Russia everyone knows how BM Androide can be and actually there were so much funny stories related to this fact, so every russian just takes it as a must... He started playing a long long time ago and he was just a little fat nooby punk he was talking nothing but shit in the channel. And it was very annoying especially for those who knew how lame androide was those days ... But now he owns and that's it. BM? Well, yes. But still a very very good player. It's like u cannot say to some person "u suck" if u cannot prove that. And it's ok to me when a person says "u suck" in channel and suggests "1vs1?" to prove that. Quote (from some movie): - a person can say anything he wants to another person. But that other person can beat the first one for his words.
bohoo, omg androide is so bm, how can he say something like that! why cant he just praise sc and the other gamers he just OWNED?! rof.. why should he act like it was a tough competition, have you seen the games? no.. then i guess he knows a bit better than you do what the games were like.. until you have seen the games yourselves please dont cry him being bm in this interview. he already admitted that he was surprised that he beat leg, because of being in trouble in the beginning..

The thing is you can still be confident WITHOUT being a dick after you win in the interview. Or just being a dick ALWAYS. In order to be confident and pysched out for a game you do not have to demean your opponents or act like a moron. Shittalking is juvenile. End of discussion. Learn to channel your self-confidence in other ways or go back to gradeschool.
Just because some cool guys are bm, it doesn't mean being bm makes you cool. See it doesn't work both ways. That's the way it works. It works like that. K.

not really
lots of people just want a nonkorean to win, any one
just because you didn't cheer for someone until the finals doesn't mean you're not allowed to or something, otherwise you wouldn't be able to cheer for anyone if the one person you wanted to go through didn't make it?
