You haven't listed me yet
Also if this was 2009, "ur dead is idiot" would be a TL-catchphrase by now.

fixed. There are a few I haven't put on that list yet coming up soon as well.

this is such a great project. Once I graduate in a month I will support this

As a zerg player I could bring drones of some sort but I'm not sure if that would be appreciated (bees anyone?).
I bring MnMs because they are really tasty! However... i have realized that it might be a bit wrong to eat MnMs and play (sk) terran...

I got some time off work for a few weeks now during Christmas. Do people hang in channel SBWI @IcCup?
|
Probably not so much. But you're in the skype group right? Just hit us up if you want to catch a few games. I was thinking of hosting some event during the christmas break here. Another thing is that we need to have another meeting soon where we decide what to with all our money since our major event is almost done and we have the next cash batch on the way in.
We are currently holding $968,52. After paying for SBWI Nation Wars we will be $968,52-$300 = $668,52. Next year we will most definitely get around $1000 more since it is a new year.
Which means that, we have to decide what to do with our amazing $1668,52!
This is also excluding any possible donations from foreign contributors as well as Swedes choosing to donate some extra money on top of the members fee. If you want to be able to affect the decision on what our money is spent on you need to donate money (any sum is welcome but $7,50 each year is most common). In that case you have the opportunity to PM me your wishes and it will be counted as a vote on the meeting. You will also be informed about what the final decisions were.

1668$! OMG that's so amazing I really hope you guys can help sponsor another ISL...
Sweden is so fucking amazing and I really hope that you guys only get more members as this progreses.

What the hell, I'm not in the Skype group, and I've met you in real life multiple times, talked to you about political philosophy, and analyzed your replays!
Invite me

Yeah, me too

Ok, I'll send a PM with my Skype, suggest everyone do the same to JaevlaTerran

gratz guys with this prize money you can host great tourneys

Now since some countries seem to have pretty extensive fees on international bank transfers, I have now set up a Paypal account. However I need confirmation from the Swedish Gov. that this is in fact "acceptable (legal?)" before I will release the information here. That will make it easier for all to donate to the SBWI. Hopefully we will then (within the week) be able to for example just say something like "It's Christmas! Let's all donate $20 to BW!" in the chat if we want to

I just got an interesting email from the Swedish government funded organization (which sponsors esport organizations like SBWI):
email in Swedish+ Show Spoiler + "Hej SBWI, och gott nytt år!
In short what it says is: "We are hosting something called the swedish esport cup containing three tournaments, online qualifiers. The finals will be held in three different Swedish cities, with the grand finals in Gothenburg. The finals will be broadcasted on Swedish national television and online." Then it says more information shortly and "would you like to help organizing this event? In that case just send me an email". I have no idea on wether this includes BW or not, but I sent an email asking about that. I don't' know if we can include foreign players too, probably not but who knows. Still kind of interesting.
By the way we just got a donation of $90!

Really cool! I just hope that they didn't confuse you with a SC2 organizer maybe BW can be done alongside the other games that will be done.

I bet it's SC2.

Which means that, we have to decide what to do with our amazing $1668,52!
You can host 1668 tours with 1$ prize for #1 place :D
|
Or 3336 0,5 $ daily tours.
You can cash out when you earned at least 10 $. Could do this like 9 years and 4 months (each day a tour).
Would need a good script tho or ultra nerd admins :D

It just seems to good to be true, and Sweden has always been mainstream town when it comes to gaming.

Yea, but they were asking if we wanted to participate in organizing the event. Maybe we can affect the games being played? I'll see what I can do at least.
