I don't know about everyone else but I still play the game every now and then. What more do you want? I'm sad the scene is dead and getting replaced by an inferior game but I don't need a scene. I don't care about sharing BW with anyone because I'm perfectly happy with the game, if I lose iccup then so be it I will move on with life. Everyone contributes and volunteers for love of the game and community. I don't think someone like Kiett does things for e-peen, hopefully. If the scene dies I don't see whats wrong with things fizzling out. The differences is that you want something more and lashing out at people who just accepted the death of BW. Death isn't strictly a bad thing. The manner in which it is dying is another issue, this OSL is going to be fkn terrible.

Actually I regard translators who have been giving us all the necessary information about the korean scene was the people who support the scene the most . Without them I don't think I would have known more about hoejja, Nal_Ra old boy wouldn't be translated . Then I put many hours into casting tournaments and streaming before frying my computer. I still to this day continue to work to fix my equipment so I can try to support and start something for the mid to upper level BW community so all us Cs don't feel so awful about the probability we'll keep getting squashed by the same A/B players that have been on top since sc2 released and we nearly lost it all. Do not try to sit on some high horse thinking we're just some bums. Anyone left in BW right now is probably a pillar trying their hardest to hold it up. Starcraft: Brood War isn't just a game anymore to a lot of us. Its a significant part of our lives. Such assumptions are quite detestable.

You did good work for BW. Thank you. There are others in the scene who have as well (Game and Sayle, most obviously to my own mind). But I don't see those people coming in and raging like I do certain others.
