So sad...
I hope people who have enjoyed watching Broodwar as a hobby will start playing it again if it disappears from televised progaming. We could still have a vibrant amateur community of Broodwar players--Korean and non-Korean-- if people who aren't particularly interested in SC2 start playing in lieu of watching.

He played in the ODT a week ago, and PL finals not long before that. Not to mention an entire season of Proleague, and vods of every single professional game he's ever played linked on his TLPD page.
You've had the chance to watch him, and still do. You just haven't bothered.

im just happy this is happening right now. I just hope the bw pros see the beauty and possibilities in starcraft 2 instead of just labeling it as an easy and boring game :/

well no matter what, you can bet your ass if there is a free stream, all of the starcraft 2 viewers will be watching OSL/proleague. You can bet your god damned arses.

2) some coaches agree that SC2 seemed boring in comparison to BW.So when they have to force the players to play this game later on, they feel like players wouldn't be doing it for fun anymore = it actually will be forcing it.
all were say SCBW > SC2
The only good thing and its maybe the most important is that SC2 expand good on foreign country where SCBW fail :/
sad day... hope Blizzard hardly improve their game with those expansion.

Marines still shoot no ? I don't really follow. There is still scv's and a barracks/factory/starport. Flash is a smart guy, i am sure he could put 2 and 2 together. Don't take things to litteraly.

There always is a free stream, and SC2 viewers don't tune in in large numbers.

Thanks for the translation via PM, OpticalShot.

The coaches REALLY WANTED to approach the foreign scene apparently. Like no other. But because of the strong idea that 'BW is ours and proleague is ours', the coaches couldn't approach the foreign scene. They see that the foreign community is there with the comments, team liquid, and youtube videos, but they just couldn't do anything about it. (tone of regret does exist here) They were happy that the previosu finals was done globally, but still sad that it's so late.
Well this is regretful. If during their peak, they actually were more accommodating and tried hard to export the game to foreign audience ( english cast, tours, maybe approach dreamhack or what not, cooperate with TSL) things could have been different.
Oh well...

Yeah I thought the interview was amazing, some coaches showed real personality. To be honest I used to look down on the STX coach because their team lacks personality and usually loses (sorry STX fans) but after this interview I see that he's a great man with great insight and passion for eSports. I honestly can't be hating on SC2 or LoL or whatever that isn't BW, I think I'll support whatever they decide to go with.

Yes I felt the most connection with Stx coach .... They really speak what I wanted hear as a bw fan . I mean just think about the possibility when bw was it's peak and kespa actually had grand finals all over the world ... Bw would have been spread globally man . But I am just playing it to my fantasy . Whatever the circumstances it is I want kespa to succeed over gom .
