It's similar to the Goblin Shredder in Warcraft 3.Can someone explain to me the one with Flash and mules? Flash in BW is known for opening directly with CC before rax and actually being able to defend it well. If he does that in SC2 and gets double the amount of MULEs from the start, now that would be really imba. (People are already often complaining that MULEs are imba; justified or not)

Sorry for the offtopic, but wouldn't it be then optimal to build a 3rd CC inside your base just for mules (and also you can lift it later when you have map control and so)?? Anyway, I consider these SC2 macro mechanics completely stupid and ridiculous, it is like: "We made the game too easy for control. Ok, let's add these spamming spells so you can somehow use your APM." -- this is not a way of good design.

Yes, a quick third CC is a common greedy build for extra Mules since it only takes 2 Mules to make up the cost of the CC + Orbital Command. It does leave a timing window open when you're vulnerable to all-ins because you spent the resources for extra economy early game before it had a chance to pay off, leaving you with a lot less units.

Each time you scan, the lifetime average yield of an orbital goes down, so it's not really 4 anyway. Protoss have chronoboost to keep ahead in workers and Zerg have the whole larva mechanic too, so it works out. Having a terrible user interface is also not good design. I agree that these macro mechanics feel somewhat gimmicky, though.

The only thing that was recalled was the observer cause it flies, so it could be in that position.

Kinda stupid right? A build where you must all in or you will lose unless your opponents fuck up. Did they get the same team from broodwar to design sc2? Cause its ridiculously stupid how some designs are fundamentally flawed yet they still hasn't change it and that's not some mistakes a programmer who did bw would do.

You're taking a risk for that extra economy. Also you're not guaranteed to lose if you don't do an all-in. I don't see progamers saying gg the moment they scout triple CC and they didn't go all-in. By the way, this really is off topic.
