They are all working hard now, they've already contacted 5-6 companies, and there is hope to create 1-2 new teams so that 8 teams format will be preserved for the tournament.
The new team lineup will be formed not according to some specific players but according to their individual performance, those who will be left can apply to be admitted to any other team.
They will start forming the teams from 10th of October. The new season will start from November.
Thanks! Something I forgot to mention too, the sec-gen said MBCGame channel will last until March, they're trying to find a solution to that. But no word on MSL.

Only 6000?
The biggest OSL final ever was EVER 2004 with 7000 I think. 6000 is a lot of people lol.
Australia's domestic football (not handegg) competition, which is pretty much a joke, attracts 10k+ people to the venue even if only the bottom teams are playing. 6000 sounds really low for a Starleague final, even if the venue is smaller.
Starcraft is a videogame and as such has a niche audience. Football is a widely accepted sport.
This is my point though. Football is a niche sport in Australia, especially the local league (as opposed to the fantastic European domestic leagues) and plus, Australia has a much lower population than Korea, plus the tickets are more expensive, and plus I'm talking about bottom tier teams. I just thought BW was more popular in Korea; I guess I was wrong. The SPL finals seems to be more of a cultural thing like the Melbourne Cup in Australia, or the Tour de France, or the World Cup, where fans and not-really-fans both join in, while the OSL and MSL finals should be more demonstrative of the true fan audience.
Having said this, I'm glad there will be an 8th team. I wonder how Khan, STX and Stars will cope though.

so what's your point ? it's like saying hey these game sucks because it doesn't have the popularity like other real life sports.Your dissapointed about the results about the final but I am not . I don't expect sc bw to reach the level of football where everyone becomes a mindless zombie kicking and hitting other people with bricks because the other teams won their game .

You still overestimate the popularity of BW if you think the PL grand finals is comparable to the Melbourne Cup or the Tour de France. It's not even close to those events, not in popularity or even cultural significance.

Well yea according to Rekrul, people outside of Korea tends to underestimate the popularity of BW or videogaming in general in Korea. It exists and people know it exists, but it's still a niche.

That is such a butchery of the word niche. Calling any sport with over 100,000 participants (let alone nearly 400,000!) in Australia as niche is ridiculous. You know that far more people spectate domestic football than domestic cricket on average, right - or is cricket a niche sport, too? Any sport other than rugby league or aussie rules could be considered niche by your logic. The fact is that you're trying to compare the incomparable: a sport enjoyed by billions of people of all ages and backgrounds with a computer game. 6,000 people at an OSL final is massive.
I don't understand what you mean by wondering how Khan, STX and Stars will cope, either. They can at least pick up some of the rookies who will, inevitably, be left by the wayside when trying to compress three teams into one. Any team which has a large sponsor behind them is going to be fine.
Basically Jaedong says he's doing alright. He's currently (at the time of the phone interview with Fomos anyway) in Ulsan, staying at home. He's spending quality time with his parents and friends. Some time ago he went on a 2 days 1 night trip by himself. Now he's at home reading books and practicing on Bnet with his teammates. He asks his fans not to worry about him.
Fomos says they contacted Kespa and Jaedong is on the list of players who have declared their intention to attend tomorrow's (30th Sept) education seminar make-up session. So is Bisu, Hiya, Midas, Mind and Roro. Flash is on sick leave (recovering from surgery) so he's not attending.
Lomo and Anytime are not on the list as of 29th Sept. Now before anyone panics about this, just wait and see what Fomos or DES has to say about this tomorrow. There should be some further explanation on this issue.
As for other players who missed the initial seminar, Fomos didn't specify whether they're attending or not so we'll just have to wait for media articles/pictures tomorrow.
