Frozen

Your 3-kill carried the team to victory.
▲First of all, I'm really happy about that. The start to my proleague season was less than ideal, and I GG'd out of both individual leagues. My confidence took a pretty big hit. But I thought to myself, if I could just grab a couple victories on just one day of SWL, I could right myself again and boost my confidence. I'd prepared so diligently for so many maps, and my efforts finally came to fruition. I'm so glad.

Nobody predicted your 3-kill.
▲I didn't think of 3-kills or all-kills. I only thought that Woongjin was a very zerg-heavy team, and I predicted that Soulkey would play on Fortress. I prepared specially for the first game, and after that I relied on my ordinary training. My momentum snowballed slowly.

Your strategy in the first game was outstanding.
▲I only thought of it last night, just before going to sleep. I have a lot of grasp over the 2port strategy, and finding a hidden expansion on Fortress isn't easy. My wraith micro was also good, so the strategy was effective.

The dropship pressure you used against Zero was really something special.
▲There are lots of playstyles T can use against Z. I'm the type of player who prefers a chaotic, fast-paced game; I admire Baby a lot. Even though he's younger than me, I've learned an incredible amount from his play. In this game, every time I dropped I dealt a severe blow, so I was very satisfied with it.

How about your game against free?
▲To be honest, if I were winning by more against free, I would have felt like doing some sort of ceremony. But I lost a lot to him before; it's been a long time since I debuted, and he plays me with unbounded confidence. I often lose critical games, this is probably my first big upset. I wanted to make a CC or nuke, but free GG'd before it got to that point, it was a little sad. Next time we face off, I'll definitely put on a show.

You sadly missed the AK.
▲I didn't have a hunger for all-killing, but once I heard the news of+ Show Spoiler +
Stork's reverse all-kill
, I felt regret. Stork often tells me: “If you run into our team, you can't beat anyone.” Even though I think Stork, great, and Jangbi are all outstanding, I don't think they're unbeatable, so I'm confident. In R4, if I meet Khan, I'll do as well as I did today.

”Bonjwa Frozen” hasn't shown his face in a while. [T/N I think “bonjwa” is very sarcastic here]
▲I feel like I've been bullied much. If I'm playing well, then I'll play well; otherwise, I'll play terribly. It's not about my power, but my mentality. I'm confident in both my strength and practice time, so I just have to adjust my mental condition to overcome “Bonjwa Frozen.” Then I won't fail against the high tier players anymore. [T/N I'm unsure, which stems from me not understanding Frozen's nickname very well]

A word about the game against Really?
▲I wasn't content once I got to 3 kills, so I tried to focus harder. Even though I've played a lot of long games on La Mancha, I just can't stand the split-map games. So I encountered difficulties. It was really regrettable; next time we meet will be different.

Anything else?
▲There are still a lot of games after today, so I'll perform well in the rest of the games too. I feel like my inner fire has been rekindled. When oov retired, I remember he said “My fire has burnt out.” Those words left a deep impact on me, and now I really understand the meaning. I'm not very old, but as a gamer, I'm still a senior player to some degree. I'm definitely not going to think of retiring now, and I'm going to treasure the rest of my career. I hope in the future, people will remember me as a player of many great games.

Bogus

Thoughts on sealing the win?
▲I was in a 3 game losing streak, and my confidence was dropping like a rock. Winning this way made me very glad.

You seemed to handle the game against Really well.
▲I have a good grasp of TvT, so I was able to win.

It looked like you wanted to end the game quickly.
▲I scouted my opponent's 1fac expand [T/N unsure] quickly, so I was able to use a hard counter strategy. Add that my opponent didn't know my strategy, so he couldn't anticipate that my vultures would arrive so fast.

What was the reason for your 3 game losing streak? Any particularly regrettable games?
▲They were all quite regrettable. I didn't prepare thoroughly enough, and I was worried.

You seem to have a lot of eagerness toward SWL.
▲I'm not as strong as I'd like right now, but if I can just be a bit better, I'll feel like I can beat anyone in SWL. I need to polish my play more. There are 2 rounds of WL, and by the end of it I want to have two all-kills. For that, I must improve rapidly. I haven't considered win totals, but I think getting 10 wins per round would be pretty good.

Your practice is going well?
▲Recently, in order to become the ace, I've been training very hard. I want to improve my skill level, so I can't just practice randomly like before. But practice is definitely going well, and I'm comfortable with it.

Anything else?
▲I'm really happy that I snapped my losing streak, and I think I need to work harder in the future. Our team's ranking will soar, and I hope to be a big contributor to that.

Stork often tells me: “If you run into our team, you can't beat anyone.”

He was on your team once, Stork. He even beat Jaedong.
I feel like I've been bullied much.

Poor Cuteangel. He makes me think of a character stereotype who is a grown up but gets bullied even by those younger than him.

It's weird how things go sometimes. STX seems to draw players who feel as if they won't accomplish anything anymore and give them new opportunities.

Cuteangel joined STX after his infamous 12 loss streak and suddenly broke it as if were nothing. July was bought by SKT when he was hot only to be dropped when he was not. He came to STX and won an OSL, ironically against the same team that had forsaken him. Tossgirl still has a place to play and practise in thanks to STX. Classic and Hyvaa found their place after their team sponsor just left them in the rain.

They're not giving up on hero, or last, and I'm happy that this approach bears fruits sometimes when players like Frozen, who don't have the the raw skill of Jaedong or Flash can defeat their opponents soundly through clever strategies. I love my team. Go practise hard, Bogus, we'll need you.

Wow I don't follow STX much to know this much history... such a beautiful history. I should definitely follow the team more often to see how these player progress.
