anyway it seems to me ra=toss boxer and would like to see a similar zerg. also it seems to me that when getting that much static d, and tech terran wouldn't have eco even with expand for large force(even at pro level) but why would goodfriend turn around when he saw arbitor tribunal? | ||

Though, when you think about it, the build Ra pulled of might not be as "Boxerish" nor risky on Parallel Lines, than first assumed. Recall+Hallucination+Arbiters+Templars is a much more cost effective way of transferring units into your opponents base, rather than building shuttles and risking losing them from the fire of Goliaths. If not scouted in time Ra's build can be very devastating for a terran. In my opinion Nada's mass wraith build vs Terato on the same very map is a much more risky strat and much harder to have succes with, as one could experience, Nada, of all people, not being able to pull it off properly. | ||

It amazes me that in this day and age we still have people running loose with brains the size of walnuts. The first part of your argument actually makes sense, and certainly you're entitled to your opinion. Ok, so that's why you banned me? Why do you flame me? But, the 2nd part about my "trick" being a two-way street is absolute nonsense. No it isnt. You said that I have to play at OGN to be able to judge the decisions of programers. According to your logic I couldnt say that if a pro 4pooled on an island map it would be stupid. Plus you just said that he couldnt do anything. So recall is an unstopable strategy? The only thing Goodfriend could do, was typing 'gg' faster? He had some time. IMO he should try to prepare other way (vultank). The reason why my "trick" (as you put it) does NOT in fact work in both directions is that you were the only one between us second-guessing and questioning the skills of a world class player. Im not questioning his skills. I am questioning his decisions. I dont need to have 250++ apm and perfect micro and macro, to say that he made a bad decision. So what he could do according to you? Just surrender? IMO if he could made vultures with mines he would have a bigger chance. Waxangel also didnt agree with you. Ban him too. Plus you arent a progamer too and you are exactly sure that all he could do was loosing- according to the fact you dont play at OGN, you cant say that too. I don't mind an argument. Plus explain me what is the purpose of forum, if not discussing. I didnt flame you (you did) and I forwarded arguments (you didnt). We've got Ra, who fast expos, gets arbiters, recall, templars, storm, hallu, and like 24-36 units and goes and recalls Here we have GF, who double fast expos, takes no damage and is free to build whatever he wants. he scouts the arbiters early, so he makes a couple of loose turrets around his base. Ra attacks, and GF has like 8 goliaths dinking around his base, and 3 dropships. Now, I guess those dropships were empty. So ra drops 24-36 units, zealots, dragoons, templars with storms, with arbiter support, vs 8 gols. Now GF flies his dropships to his expo, and picks up like 8 goliaths and flies back.. of course that won't win. and GF decides to go battle cruisers with double upgrades after scouting arbiters. I mean, it doesn't take a rocket science to see that GF played like a moron, if you ask me atlteast. I'm about 200% sure that it wouldn't have killed nada if he had two free expos and knew it was coming long beforehand.. I was expecting dweb arbiter drop, but the hallu was nice :D I wonder why Ra didn't attack his CC as it floated by a corsair PS, quoting really long posts is gay!! | ||

8882 wasn`t bad mannered at any point. in fact, mensrea was with his sarcastic post. mensrea is actually a pretty sad figure, just read a couple of his posts and you will agree with me. looking forward to either getting banned or to one of mensreas fancy super-rhetorical flames. ps: i really hope mensrea get's his feet back on solid ground and clams down a bit instead. | ||

Your banning was completely ungrounded and he commited every offense that he tried to blame you for, only 10 times worse. I doubt i've ever seen a bigger ego then this ugly tyrant that mensrea's grown into. I liked him much more in the bw.com and infant tl.net days. | ||

i just read mensrea's last post. just count how many insults he used. incredible... not that i really care but people should know this anyway. oh and btw mensrea: how about posting a replay of yourself playing before you actually start arguing about starcraft? have you ever played this game? edit: laptoplegacy pretty much said it. in the days of halpmeh and he early days of tl.net i really liked mensrea. then came a point where i found his battle reports and stuff really childish because they were written in such bombastic words (can't put it in better words) while they always missed the point of the game (mensrea doesn't really have a clue). ever since then i had a less biased view on all of mensreas posts and realized most of the time he's just being arrogant. i've watched him ban at least 5 people only because they didn't agree with his opinion. don't take this as an insult but i really think mensrea's got a bit too much of this internet stuff. a guy who used to put so much effort in this site can't really have a healthy life and now with so many ppl going like "mensrea is god" etc that must have been too much for him. =/ | ||
