Since he saw arbiter it was obvious he was going to do a massive assault (recall) into his main, wasting a recall in an expansion is not something usually done. Since he teched for arbiters he would lack of mobility with dropships and recall is not that versatile, IMHO the way to stop that is to lame and choking his economy not allowing him to move since he wont have that much shuttles. | ||

The first part of your argument actually makes sense, and certainly you're entitled to your opinion. But, the 2nd part about my "trick" being a two-way street is absolute nonsense. The reason why my "trick" (as you put it) does NOT in fact work in both directions is that you were the only one between us second-guessing and questioning the skills of a world class player. I don't mind an argument. And, in fact, I don't mind stupidity. I've had stupid moments before and I certainly will again in the future. But, stupidity combined with arrogance needs to be dealt with. I just found 8882's comments annoying. It's not always what someone says - but who says it. Besides, my original rib was meant half in jest. Not my fault the dumbass decides to escalate things - and expose himself as a conceited halfwit too moronic to realize how much of an idiot he really is. Oh, well. :O | ||

Friend could have used mines and tried to exploit the fact that Ra had no mobile detection, but Ra had so many options with regards to where to attack that it wouldn't have made a difference. Friend was playing catch-up for the entire game. So, with 20/20 hindsight, what could Friend have done? It seems like Ra's strategy was designed to blitzkrieg a Terran fast-expand build, which Friend predictably used. Had Friend used a faster drop build and sacrificed some economy, he may have been able to do enough damage to force Ra into changing his strategy. However, the combination of Ra's inventive strategy and Friend's lack of substantial ground presence as a result of fast expanding put the nail in his coffin. Great prediction and execution on the part of Ra. | ||

It doesn't matter who escalated it. I've never banned anyone just for telling me off (unless it's the obvious BNet-type troll who comes in here thinking he can disrespect people at will with impunity). I don't mind a good tussle every now and then. | ||
