If this is the attitude that blizzard is showing with it's games, killing them off one by one- then what is going to happen when the other expansions come out? The balance is going to be absolutely horrid, yet everyone will switch. What happens when sc3 comes out? or wc4? or any other blizz title? doing this will never make video games a sport. Killing of games before they even reach a prime. All this is doing is making more money. What a sad way to see e-sports go.... with thunderous applause ![]() HOW IS IT BAD FOR E-SPORTS? They havent killed shit off. Everyone playing SC2 is playing it because they like to fucking play it. It took 12 years for BW to finally end. And btw "sad way to see e-sports go? LOL What the hell are you talking about? BW was NEVER crowned "king of esports".

I didn't have any ill-intent while posting my original response, yet you guys are so warped by your hate that you find every little thing to jump at. I still stand by my post that I seriously hope you guys learn to enjoy SC2 in the future, or find a greener pasture on the other side. ROFL "Extremist fans"? Aside from the fact that you're completely ignoring a post I made that was specifically addressed at you to address that point, the notion of an "extremist fan" of BW is hilarious.

+ Show Spoiler + ![]() Well, it would suck majorly if all BW A-team players start flowing into GSL within the next couple months. I want Boxer to win at least one GSL prior to that.

KT Rolster coach Lee Ji Hoon IP and public property is important, but... People don't know the biggest hurdle in the negotiations and are just arguing with themselves. I'm not allowed to disclose any information, but when you find out... you will probably be extremely upset... Man... oh shit that part kinda scared me for real

At least he'd get support from Movie/SkyHigh. It was fun to watch Sparkyz because they were underdogs. If they did start doing well it would because they got new talent or improved, but now if they get better it's because they merged two teams together. Besides that I like Sparkyz for being an underdog team I liked them for having emotion which it's the stereotype that CJ does not, with the "CJ face -_-" comments. Watching CJ's games and Leta's face whenever he wins reinforces this belief. Leta smiles when he wins! ALSO I hate one of the CJ fan girls that does the train whistle cheer.

That coaches abused players to the point where even korean work ethic denied any further playing? The methodology in which this is handled is wrong, by both sides especially KeSPA but above all we need to think of the players whom in the BW scene were pretty much abused and drained. Another person who joined in 2010 making shit up. Conditions so bad lol. Did you see Hyungjoon becomes a progamer?

I really don't see how people can like SC2 without liking BW at all, or wishes people to just hop over and kill BW. I'll admit it, I joined TL because of SC2. I never really followed BW at all, I've just heard about it being extremely crazy in Korea and well, I too out of ignorance thought it was absurd the amount of exposure it gets there. Fast-forward to now, man I love watching BW soo much, I wish I found out how great it was sooner. It's just like those stupid hate threads in sc2 / bw forums, why is it so hard for people to just play what they want and/or enjoy both games and hope they succeed?

With all due respect, sir, to me, an opinonless observer (who loves SC but knows that it's going to die soon anyway, every major evolution starts with a collapse of the old), you are the one being thick-skulled, trying to keep BW alive with your comments on these forums. The logic behind that, I do not understand. There are always people who deny the new, the thing that will become norm, and I see you exactly as that, trying to pull any argument to feel good about winning an internet argument. The paraolympics picture comes to my mind.

To clarify, the way BW has evolved over the years into a fiercely competitive, cutthroat and unforgiving sport might have facilitated its rapid collapse.

BW right now is still the most advanced esport in terms of sponsorship, leagues etc. Please check out the history on the database here on TL or liquipedia and compare it to any other game. I started following BW in 2007 and I really like SC2. I enjoy watching both and I really wish a healthy SC2 and BW scene could coexist.
