First, he was clearly the favorite. Second, it was WCG, so a lot of big betting was likely going on. Third, he was no longer bonjwa anyways so why not make the most of it? All of this added to the fact that he played relatively poorly in those games is enough to really raise suspicions. During that time, Savior was still rank 1 or 2 in Kespa. Savior was a extreme favorite. Plus it's a zvp. And Savior dominated zvp during that time.

bookmakers wouldn't have betted on 'minor (to them at least)' events such as wcg grand finals.

All of this added to the fact that he played relatively poorly in those games is enough to really raise suspicions. Now the game with Bisu when he lost bonjwa status, I'm not so sure. But it's also possible because Bisu wasn't a huge name then. Hell defeating Savior practically made Bisu's career, so there was definite incentive. This scandal completely taints everything about Savior except for, maybe, his initial rise to bonjwa status, but then again who knows? Korean SC gaming - it's just hard to view it the same way after this. Not a good theory imo.
1. The schedule of WCG is extremely tight, noone knew that Savior would face PJ until a few hours before the match.
2. Savior was not in his usual setting, meaning he probably didn't have much contact to his usual "advisors".
3. The koreans aren't very excited for WCG, atleast not in recent years.
All of these points disfavour your theory that this game was rigged - I doubt it was worth rigging..

CJ just released a statement. I'll post it here I guess.
+ Show Spoiler +CJ

CJ Entus, "Plans to strongly respond to malicious accusations about players"
Asks people to restrain themselves from spreading rumors.
CJ Progaming team revealed that they will strongly respond to false accusations about their gamers accused of fixing games.
A CJ affiliate phoned Fomos to let them know about rumors flying around about Savior. They mentioned, "Savior indeed is going through knee surgery. There has been no talk among the team about retiring or displacing Savior."
The affiliate added that the investigation about match fixing is on-going and that no one should jump to conclusions that tarnish the reputation of any of the CJ players before anything is confirmed. "As long as these malicious rumors keep spreading to destroy players' reputations, we will strongly respond to them."
On the other hand, there have been many articles in the e-sports community about who has fixed matches. According to Code 307, these accusations fall under libel and can be punished under law. Even if the accusations are true, by Code 310, accusers can avoid penalties only if additionally, the accusations were made for the greater good.
---
Basically, CJ Entus is standing by its players, at least until proven guilty. Also, we finally seem to get an answer to why suspects in Korea cannot be named -- newspapers do not want to be charged for libel in case the accusations are false or revealing names is not considered helpful to the "greater good".
THE PLOT THICKENS
