probe:
Advantages/ pros: 1. quick acceleration 2. uber long attack range 3. regenerating shields 4. awsome orgies when mining out
Disadvantages / cons: 1. weak 2. hard to split
Drone:
Advantages/ Pros 1. quick accel 2. attack range exists 3. regenerating health 4. will regain 100% health when un-morphed after building a building
Disadvantages/ cons: 1. gets blocked by objects when trying to morph into hatcheries (courtesy of zidane Tribual)
SCV:
Advantages/ pros: 1. tank
Disadvantages/ cons: 1. retarded. obviously works for murphy as it will not build extremely critical buildings without you constantly monitoring their actions 2. slow accel 3. no attack range
XCV
Advantages/ pros. 1. 2 fusion cutters = double damage 2. f*ckin tank 3. 16.66667% reduced build time 4. can build a supply depot anywhere on the map as long as it can get there
Disadvantages/ cons: 1. high resource cost (5000minerals/7999gas) 2. building a XCV may cause your units to rebel against you

Gotta be the god damn probe. Proxy, range, regen = annoyingest unit in BW edit - I think being able to make multiple buildings with one probe is a + too
i'd say the probe. being able to warp in a whole base at once (once pylon is constructed) as opposed to an scv making 1 building @ a time or 1 drone = 1 building and only being a hatch.. looks pretty simple that the probe is the pimp among the group.
Probes are robots that create rifts in space-time to warp in buildings to some far flung corner in another galaxy. They spearhead rushes, steal gas, disrupt mining, block hatches; there's really nothing they can't do.
Nony's comment made me fucking lol. But yeah, probes are pretty sick cause they can warp shit in and go and do other stuff. Drones sack themselves to make something. Bleh.
scv can build structures with more hp at a cost, meaning its harder to kill what an SCV builds also, it can cancel a building built 99%, meaning you regain 3/4 your money at the cost of basically a complete structure
with a probe the pylon is weak, and can only be canceled in a short time~

i think they have the same range its just scv need to accelerate to utilize their full range so a scv without micro vs a drone/probe with micro would lose but a scv with micro would win always.

The attack animation on probes and drones gives them like 1.3 range while the scv needs to stand next to them for their attack animation.
Also, the fact that zergs constantly suicide their drones into my scv!

that is a hoax my friend. SCVs naturally attack faster. proof = i left a 30hp scv alone vs a full hp/shield probe. scv won with 5 hp. and there were many people who tested it out by timing the speed of idle scvs attacking a command center and spammed scvs attacking a command center
All Zerg buildings, including hatcheries, are made of drones All units are spawned from hatcheries Therefore the entire zerg race is made out of drones.
I hated the scv because their hotkey is the same as the stop hotkey so sometimes splitting is frustrating since an accidental S for scv in command center would throw someone off balance.

Gotta be the probe, the range, the instant acceleration, the ability to warp buildings in and the recharging shields just make them so unbelievably annoying early game when in the hands of a good player.

personally I like scv's just because they have a personality. But if it wasn't a "who do you like better contest", the drone would win, not because it's really strong or smart or cool or anything, but just because it spits on things. I love spitting on things.
Probes also mine more efficiently, acceleration and nexus size wise. In addition, they don't waste time like scvs making buildings, making them even more efficient. They don't die when they morph into a building...
Hey fuck probes and scvs, my drones are little badass suicide bombers they gives their lives and drone sperm to grow new buildings for the good of the colony!
yeah probes arent that good, i mean they have a variety of use, but no real badasses, i mean you never see someone bringing probes along with their armies, they cant heal dragoons and they cant throw down bunkers, instead they only become useful once youve build a pylon, if its not spotted of course... so yeah its really a pussy.
