he played pretty much vs all koreans and held a- rank for over a 100+ games pretty impressive imo. i know morrow got A and idra got A+ but idra is training in a pro house and morrow... well we all know hes the one thats really playing for flash, and a handful of others got A in TSL but i think this is probably one of the first legit A ranks ever achieved by foreigners and i want to say congratulations to white-ra:D

Thread title is technically correct.

How about "White-Ra's iCCup Adventures!"?

lol I thought it was some sort of new glitch that White-Ra discovered.

Probably the most annoying meme ever. Stop using it.
Grats to white-ra. I gotta root for the americans to win, but I would be almost as happy if white-ra took it all. Seems like an awesome guy.

the ones he doesnt crush play about equally much, just not as much on iccup ladder using the same nickname.

The most awesome part is that he keeps playing once he hits A rank, really nice to see a guy who genuinely doesn't care about showing good stats and just wants to play for fun and/or improvement.

Well ra has nothing to prove to anyone. Good stats can confuse people into thinking you're good. If you're white-ra people already know you're good and no amount of bad stats or losses will change that.

everytime i post you have some sort of negative thing to say but in all of iccups life there have probably been three legit A rank foreigners, and also A ranks in past seasons mean less and less as iccup has been getting progresivly harder and that is simply a fact. who couldnt get b ++ ranks in the first few seasons? and now most top tier foreginers are honestly like B rank if they didnt dodge at all.
edit: the three i mean are idra ret and white-ra. additionally nony and some others could be added to that list but you get the gist.

its irrelevant. getting A this season was so so so much harder then getting A in previous seasons and especially that A+ that was quite awhile ago.

I imagine that A+ was quite a bit easier to get in season 6 than it is now. Compare his records before season 9 with those after.

This also reminds me of the FPVOD he released where his pylon blocked the nexus in his natural. It shows that he's not afraid of showing his weaknesses or his mistakes, and that his strengths and the times he does play well make up for it. Quite admirable imo.

I'm worried about white-ra. He's been winning, but since his second series with idra in ief, he hasn't been dominating. I was hoping for more 3-0's and dominating wins.

its amazing that he maintained it two seasons in a row. obviously the skill jump isnt that huge between one season but it starts to add up, and the determination of playing that many games and getting bashed by so many koreans is amazing. plus he started at the very beginning of the season and has reset which is extremely impressive.

Very true. 2 Seasons ago I could reach C- with a 60%+ win rate, even playing during korean hours. Now, even though I improved a lot, I can barely hit C- with 45% win rate, and rarely beat C- kors.
