Everytime I try to save my replays it gives me that message. Help plz.

check if your replay folder is write protected

Sounds like a case of lacking administrative rights. I'm guessing you use Vista?

Either you don't have permission to write to that folder, or your disk is full.

edit: or your disk is dead, but that seems unlikely.

Yes, I use Vista. I've been using Vista and was able to save replays before, but I guess something happened and now i can't.

What do I do to fix it?

One common cause would be having the game (installed at or trying to save replays to) \program files\, solution would be moving it somewhere else.

try right-clicking your broodwar shortcut, run as administrator and then try to run a quick game and save the rep. if it works you can set the shortcut to always run as administrator, but i don't remember how how the top of my head

I think if you right click on the starcraft.exe file and go to properties you can set it to always run as administrator.

that works if i run broodwar straight up, but when i try to start it with chaos launcher i can't save replays still

i already tried reinstalling. that didn't work. maybe i'll try it again when i find my cd key.

You should be able to just set both to always have administrative rights. I don't remember how offhand.
